We still have Q3 trading update due on 27th October which most are expecting to be good with the rise in interest rates. But.....we won't know until 31st October if the chancellor has any intention to tinker with the interest rate paid to Banks for their deposits held at the BOE so until that is a known quantity I don't think there will be much upwards momentum on SP.

As far as I am aware, Lloyds, Barclays or Natwest Group do not have any of their points of contact through overseas call centres.

You should, as I should as I also live in Scotland, worry about what will happen to the Scottish economy if they ever do vote for independence. In that event the Scottish economy would fall of a cliff and end up being a basket case economy making Greece look like a booming economy.
