The SP has already fallen 15% from when it was announced that the Government were looking at imposing extra taxation burden on Banks so that scenario already priced in don't you think.

What's the Market reaction to that going to be!

Windfall tax's are what you would expect from a Labour Government, not Conservative.

Oil, Gas, Energy Companies, Banks all easy targets for the Government politically with the public..........all in the Treasuries sights for reducing the expected £40B deficit. All will be revealed on Monday............maybe!

And he has paid the price for it. Labour and the other opposition parties were forever attacking Boris and the Conservatives for his lockdown parties at Downing Street demanding he step down............yet Kier Starmer and 30 of his colleagues got caught red handed with photo's of them at a curry night in Durham during lockdown, and the Durham police swept it under the carpet and he and his colleagues got of scot free! That stinks!

The simple fact is BORIS himself is responsible for all this. He has let himself, the Conservative Party, and the country down with his conduct when in office.

Barclays, Natwest, HSBC, Standard Chartered all down more than Lloyds today. Seems HSBC update has got bank investors attention.

HSBC down currently -5.4% on their update news. They have a lot of exposure to China so lets see how Barclays update looks tomorrow.

We've just had the starter course, the election by Tory MP's of Rishi Sunak as PM. When is the main course due to be served..........Tories self destruct in all out internal civil war between the Sunak and BoJo factions tearing the Conservative Party apart leading to an early GE?

The Conservatives have made themselves unelectable in the same way that Labour was under Jeremy Corbyn. They have a little over 2 years to turn it around and pull themselves back from the abyss!

Lloyds have confirmed there is no intention to change to quarterly dividends.

All Parties at Westminster supported the furlough scheme at the time it was introduced.

Penny Mordaunt will be the best choice as PM to unite the party with no distractions from within the Conservative party or other parties if Boris won. If Boris had gone on to win, Sunak supporters would never had accepted him and likewise the opposition parties. And likewise, BoJo's supporters will not accept Sunak for his betrayal. This will lead to chaos going forward with rebellion within the Tories with the Sunack/BoJo opposing factions looking for any chance to "settle the score" and bring down whoever won. Neither Sunack or BoJo camp, or opposition parties will have any score to settle/axe to grind with Penny Mordaunt should she win leaving her and Parliament to focus fully on getting the country back on the right footing..
