Of course mutations are a reality but the hope was that variants would be behaving more like the 'kent strain' and less like the 'brazil strain' or these ones that have developed the E484K mutation seemingly independently. You are saying the real experts are not concerned as Nervtag literally describe it as a 'variant of concern'

These mutations are causing the government to have to rethink strategy and may delay the reopening of the economy, that in itself costs hundreds of billions of pounds.

Out of interest, why are you investing in a drug development company already valued at £400m without any sales going after a 'very small market'. It sounds extremely high risk for such little reward.

Variants like those mentioned also improve the case for emergency approval.

Assuming the ones in the 17-20k range are all the same buyer then it makes about 525k shares, less than other days but still sizeable. A question most of you should be able to answer: why do investors buy 20k blocks like that 25+ times, is it because that's the largest amount they can buy in one go? Last week the buys were going through in 55k blocks...

Further down the road there's going to be other drugs that work against covid/influenza but I'm more interested in the ones on a similar path to us, not those that are showing effectiveness against mice and ferrets.
