A few weeks ago there was a lot of talk on here of something like activ 2 coming with conditional pre orders. Who still thinks this is the case? Anyone expecting anything interesting alongside the first dose rns?

Whilst the activ 2 p2 is going on we'll be collating the results from our own home trial. Collectively that's going to give us some firepower when applying for emergency approval.

Before activ 2 it was very clear in my head where we were at. The larger focus was on hospitalised patients thanks to the incredible (and somewhat surprising) readout in July. The p3 is looking at the effect sng001 has on those in need of oxygen in hospitals with the hope that strong results would lead to approval in the hospital setting. The expansive international aspect I assume would boost the chance of getting approval in the UK, Europe & the States/ROW.

The At Home trial was to explore the effect sng001 had on those deemed 'At risk' before symptoms had developed to the point of admission to hospital. The hope would be to get approval for outpatients or even those yet to visit a hospital. I also get the point of activ 2 but I wondered how they all intersect/come together. Is it as simple as more data = more chance of approvals? Does it matter if results fail in one trial but are positive in another?!

I'm obviously aware that activ 2 is a boon for sng but I'm just not exactly sure how everything fits together...

Ah well that was largely the prediction on here when we were aware of it before the market. Certainly confidence that we'd say goodbye to £2 for good.

Is everyone still as confident as they were of ~£2.50 on activ news? I hope we get an rns soon fleshing out the details.

Considering you're so confident of between £25 and £78 a share here I'm surprised you're taking those sorts of risks...

For all the claims that we have been ignored let's not forget the coverage we got after our phase 2 (lots of media coverage) as well as the recent coverage relating to the first patient dosed. There is no way if p3 is a roaring success that we'll be ignored, it will be all over the british news and there will be pressure on the government to act.

The piece was largely an advert for the Recovery trial, probably briefed by Horby beforehand (and Landray features).

Org I know you are set in your ways but even if you were right you're completely ignoring the role of stockpiling and pandemic preparedness, a hot topic following this crisis. Covid is estimated to cost somewhere in the range of $15-$20 trillion globally, you'd think broad spectrum antiviral like ours would be a useful tool in the armoury wouldn't you?

Org you make a good point, maybe it's best to contact Richard or Sir Stephen and remind them of this as they seem to be gearing up to produce millions of treatments a year.

I picture Richard calling the investor relations team frantically 'hold off with the rns team, the chart says release must be next Friday!'

I've not had the pleasure of witnessing a green box this morning, I get the feeling our wrong dishonourable foe may be nursing a rather nasty hangover this morning.

When the activ 2 inclusion rns landed and we hit 192 I wondered if it was just too early for the brakes to be released and decided to hold off committing more funds here. We were still a minimum of two months away from the At Home trial results and about the same for a p3 interim analysis. Imo we are edging ever closer to that point now where good news could be followed quickly by good news which could be followed by transformational news. If funds and IIs are indeed stake building we could well be one bit of news away from this taking off for good...

So this has been approved for non hospitalised patients and requires an infusion? Room for us then!
