Sure but no one asked you. You've come here to tell everyone that this isn't the investment for you right now. Fair enough. I have a rather extensive watchlist but until I buy I don't plan to pop on all the boards to tell them that I am not planning to buy!

I got a lot of stick for sharing my thoughts on the share price direction yet the likes of Happy and Foxy who have been nothing but pests for a year on here get plenty of likes when they announce they have bought back in for a quick trade.

It's not hard to make friends on here.

Thanks Coffeecups, it always helps to hear the other side to get a more balanced picture. Looking at your last few posts on this BB however shows that you're here to cause trouble more than anything else so I thank you again for sharing that bit of info and bid you farewell to the green bin.

Well I got them yesterday for 81.2 - and no, building my holding in 4d today.

Been watching a while and finally pulled the trigger - think they'll be a lot more like me moving money in at this price. Gla!

If you believe strongly in the company but the share price is struggling that's always the best time to buy in/top up.

Sure Kaeren, we all have different opinions on this. I think back to that wretched time when we had to endure Captain Stanley on here and what he repeatedly asked the forum was 'what do you have when/if covid goes away?' and the response was always either 'covid isn't going away, ever!' or, at least from me 'we'll know soon, trust me the board will be already planning long term!' There was then so much build up to that January update with many discussions on here about what the forward guidance was going to be and how much non-covid related detail we were going to get only for none to come and the share price to rapidly decline.

When it does come, especially if it's impressive, I think novacyt will be looked at in a completely different light.

Following on from an earlier post this is exactly the point I was trying to make. I think GM had two options at the start of the year... the first was to please the market by switching the narrative to post-covid and what the company plans longer term or the second, push all that discussion back to the summer or even later and go hell for leather monetising this near term opportunity. Having chosen the second option it suggests the board are uber confident of making enormous money near term.

The numbers you are talking about Kaeren seem plausible and realistic to me.

I should have made it clearer that I agreed with a specific point of BP re the need for non-covid related updates, not the bit where he was sowing doubt again.

Barnetpeter is right, despite many on here saying the market doesn't care about the long term - it does! Imo the biggest factor in the slide from £11 to where we are now since the trading update is the lack of info regarding 'what's next'.

GM and the board clearly believe that there is serious money to be made first from covid and chose to prioritise this, giving themselves til the summer to share their longer term strategic plan and in doing so sacrificed shareholder value short term.

Your examples are a bit meaningless to be honest. So TEL rose 300% and that means there is growth in crypto still? There are penny stocks that do that daily. What you are describing is not sustainable in anyway and tells you nothing about the longevity of crypto.

As it happens I'm with you on a revolution taking place in finance, I'm with you on bitcoin continuing to rise over time, I'm with you on the importance and use of blockchain technology. I don't however think placing money on random altcoins is any different to playing the slot machines and I find it funny that you think that this could spell the end of Wall Street!

You've made the right move Xenor. If bitcoin continues to steadily rise miners like Argo will do just fine, but the chance to make mega money has passed. I mean 14p to £3.30 in just a few months is really something and fair play to those who got in early and had the cojones to put down meaningful money and hold most of the way through. Now the downside risk outweighs the upside reward imo.

I take a lot of comfort in the price action here over the past month. I expected this to be a fairly quiet period but PR and communication from the company has been almost non-existent - if ever the price was going to retrace to the 80p level before the next leg up then this was it, but £1.10 has proved to be rock solid support.

I sold a quarter of my holding a few weeks back but today bought those shares back, quietly confident that we'll be moving north soon.

That is literally like putting £500 on red and saying 'god this is so easy'. Crypto is evidently not going to spell the end of Wall Street and the LSE, what world are you imagining? One where everyone lays in bed all day throwing money at recently minted new coins and everyone being super rich because of it?! How will companies raise cash to fund operations?

And I'm not anti crypto whatsoever, I am invested in ETH and BTC but do I look at all this altcoin trading and see it replacing traditional finance? Definitely no.

60 p/e = £6.12b mcap = ~ £4.85 a share.

That's what everyone was saying a few weeks ago then it jumped from £3.65 to £5.80 in a matter of days. I hope that helps the nerves this time if the share price continues to fall...

The share price will be pushed around in that range until we get positive news such as DHSC dispute cleared up and strategic plan outlined. I've held money back this time in case it goes below £4 again.

There's no doubt about it crypto miners are rather out of favour at the mo. I imagine we're at the stage where many investors have had enough (whether it be Argo, Riot, Hive etc) and are selling out to buy BTC/ETH directly but the tide will turn and money will flow back this way.

It's frustrating me how much flip flopping seems to be going on in regards to airline travel. There is so much money to be made by novacyt if the plans go ahead as described in Porky's tweet, even if just for six months. Ncyt will be printing money.

Absolutely but false claims of half a million buys that gets lots of likes are influencing people just as much as my post is. Call it what you want but my comments come from a good place, there are loads of decent human beings on this forum and I'm sharing my honest thoughts. I don't think this a pump and dump operation, I think it's a genuine company with half a chance of pulling off an incredible feat, which if they do will lead to great returns for all of you.

I do think that the price action is very reminiscent of November however and just pointing out that those underwater may well get an even better opportunity to top up if they take a step back and let things play out.

I vow not to post on this BB again as you have me totally wrong and are twisting everything I say. Good luck and I hope even the hard-nosed rampers make a fortune.
