I get that. Realistically the share price would rise to ~40p and then you would likely find shareholders declining the offer.
The point I was making is that right now many, many BMN holders would bite your hand off for a quick 50p and so they should - 190% overnight gains are rather rare.

It always seems a bit silly to me when investors say they would turn down a buyout 190% above the current SP. Sure it could go higher in time but there are plenty of other companies with huge potential. Take the huge gains (or small for those underwater) and find the next gem to put it on.

Who's to say they aren't in the process of doing just that?

72p would act as a very strong support if the chartists are correct.

There will not be a placing for some time, operations will be financed through other means.
When the share price is back at a level the company are happy with further placings will likely happen, but not as often as they used to.

It's not 'as simple as that' but it is partially true, but these things go in waves. At some point attention will turn back to miners and they will have their day in the sun. Some will wait patiently loading up hoping that happens, others will move on to different stocks and sectors. Each to their own.

I'm not sure we do need it ASAP but the timing of it could be highly significant. If the dispute is resolved positively the share price will spike, now imagine if that is followed up with a contract win and then the release of the longer term strategic plan?

This is a very real opportunity for the company to claw back all the lost shareholder value over the past five months and I hope they are smart and take advantage of it.

I haven't bought back in down here but the risk/reward is looking more attractive again. Getting that large raise at the height of things now looks a genius move - £200m mcap can't be considered 'way too high' when there's £87m worth of funding to see it through an international p3 trial.

You don't need to explain yourself to me. The point I was making was in response to your comment about selling and coming back. That would have worked a few months ago but that doesn't make sense now, this is very likely the bottom or close to the bottom.

Just like now is a good time to load up on 4D this imo is a good time to load up here and tuck them away until news comes out of the blue.

Of course it might go a bit lower no one knows, but having raised $57.25 million at an equivalent of £1.87 nine months ago I see a lot of value down here at £0.80. What price are you waiting for? 75p? 70p? 60p?

That's such rubbish I'm afraid. The people who lose the most are the ones that lose faith ONCE the share price has fallen, assume it's going to keep falling and then miss the rise. I would agree with your comments Nightmare if the share price had yet to plummet, but it has already.

The time to sell was three months, even one month ago. THIS is the time to get back in and wait.

If the shares fall below £4 again a 10% share buyback would highlight to the market just how ludicrous the share valuation is. 'Yeah that's right, we just bought back 10% of the company with a fraction of our cash pile!'

I doubt it will happen but a share buyback would be a real sign of intent, but you've got to find the sweet spot. Buying back too many and the market questions why you aren't reinvesting that money in the company.

Buying back 5% of the shares (3.5m) for about £15m would see the share price skyrocket in my opinion.

Yes, but by made you mean turn over. They are a good comparator though.
2020 - Biosyn Rev €154m, EBITDA €52m vs Nov Rev €312m, EBITDA €210m. So revenue was about double but EBITDA quadruple. However Q1 Biosyn €75m vs Nov €83m so you could argue biosynex is moving in the right direction.
Mcap Biosyn €266m vs Nov €339m.

A quick snapshot and you might think novacyt's share price isn't that egregious after all, but the difference in the amount of money actually being made is stark. We know novacyt has a war chest building up whilst Biosynex are still having to raise funds (as recently as January).
