The only reason technically Plan B can claim that the S2F is yet to be invalidated is because he's made a model with such extreme lower and upper bounds that almost anything falls in it. Still, the BTC price has been hanging on for dear life at the lower bound for months now.

Last close $42.8k, S2F $106.7k - Not even half of the S2F prediction.

He didn't predict $43k back in May, he said in late June $43k is the worst case scenario, so kinda the same but not quite:

So technically it's not invalidated I'll give you that, will check back in in December to see where abouts in the $100k to $450k bracket BTC is sitting - and if not I'm sure you'll happily accept that S2F is no longer of use.

Not true, the on chain metrics have suggested the move to be 'imminent' for a while now. I've been researching Argo again a lot over the last few days and am looking to make a small entry myself once this settles, whether that be £1.20, £1.40 or even higher. But yeah, will wait til this volatility settles (or the price goes too low to ignore).

All these experts relentlessly claiming bitcoin will reach $100k before the year is out are starting to look like they may be very wrong now. Wasn't that Pompliano guy wearing a t shirt saying $100k to hammer home the point?

Most of the bitcoin fanatics I know are starting to lose heart and have started trying their hand at trading BTC and ETH, something they wouldn't have dreamed of at any point over the past three or four years - they were hardcore HODLers. Too small a sample size to read anything into but makes me wonder if the shine is starting to come off?

If you really are an NHS GP and you're not the daughter (I think you said you're a woman) of a millionaire then 200K must be a lot of money to you. If you then went completely all in in one go in a chancy AIM stock that was already up around 4000% YTD then that in itself is extremely high risk. If you then doubled your money and still didn't de risk whatsoever that is also extremely high risk and some would say pretty reckless.

I'm sorry you're down so much but with that sort of attitude even if NCYT turn this around it's likely you'll lose it all over again!

The chance to drive this lower has gone IMO. I expect shorts to reduce and for this to rise in anticipation of results, perhaps only to about £40 but still significant from today's SP - results will then determine whether this goes back down to £30 or pushes on to late March levels.

Not followed Argo for a little while but been keeping an eye on Bitcoin - very surprised to see the price here hold up so well... any particular drivers over the past few weeks? Obviously the move north over the past five weeks coincided with BTC looking stronger but it hasn't followed it down this time?

At any given time one should hold or buy if they think the share price will rise and sell if they think it's going lower. Of course that's not easy to determine and isn't possible if you're more of a passive investor but it's certainly a bad tactic to only sell profitable investments.

Ha I've never seen China swapped for the US in that maxim but we're probably about to find out if that's true very shortly.
