If it falls a fair bit lower I will probably take a punt and add some more as I think there's a decent chance there's a positive reaction when the outstanding sums to Novacyt are announced or seen in the accounts and I also think Lyn will have a good crack at making something of this but my exit price target will be lower now.

The share price is still higher than it was from Jan to April this year - the VAT is a shoe in so all is not lost but the outstanding invoice being paid or not will make a major difference. Get that and have this whole saga behind novacyt and there's still potential for a successful business to be developed but of course, the quick, easy money has now gone.

If they do receive £8.5m + £24m still then he is very well placed to achieve such a result in the years to come.

Wilson I'm pretty sure that will be sorted out in the weeks ahead and will show up in the interim results in a few months time - not something to include in the settlement rns as it's separate.

The £8.5m VAT will have to head back Novacyt's way now so a net gain of £3.5m I think - £40m cash position is what it is.

Lyn related do you think? This is still the best situation he's ever had, with £30m+ and no debt to build out Yourgene - less of an incentive to go for the jugular and risk being out of a job?

I'm with you CS, any result that draws a line under this and has money heading Novacyt's way is a win in my eyes and will lead to a positive share price reaction and that's worth it to avoidthis becoming even longer and drawn out.

It does seem like the requisitioning group have a lot of votes behind them so they are either going to win or Shishir narrowly squeezes through - definitely going to be interesting to see what happens tomorrow and then the days following the result.

The positives are that DKL survived last year without further funding, something that looked rather unlikely following the H1 results and scarily low cash position vs near term debt obligations.

How hard can it be to eventually iron out the cashew issues? I mean come on, they were predicting 10tkpa back in 2020 for the following year with a phase 2 ramp up to 15ktpa and then eventually 30ktpa.

No he clearly means ncyt won’t agree a deal on the initial £130m dhsc claim but might on the £81m counterclaim ie £20m + legal fees + interest.
