Interesting one this and not sure what to make of it. Limericks being buying at or around this price for a couple of years now so one could argue they knew nothing 2 years ago as share price not moved at all since that first buy. Additionally merger news cannot be imminent as otherwise we would be in a closed period. That being said cannot argue that its positive onbalance unless of course the BOD have done a sweep (bit of pocket money to some of them) to get a placeholder RNS out there (using a non-exec) to stem the decline in SP pending some funding action............surely not ?

Suspect drift is inevitable now with no significant ops news expected for weeks. They are caught between a rock and a hard place presently as need commercial flow on a deep to raise funds at a premium to todays SP.........however with the continued and endless run of ops problems in conjunction with ever dwindling cash balances they are at the cross roads now imo. i think a lot will now wait to ensure merger terms are firstly equitable and secondly what the cash position...........so drift in SP yes inevitable imo

Quelle surprise.........well not to some of us. As always it is what is not said that is key with every Roxi RNS. A6 will be much sicker than we are led to believe of that i have no doubt (just look at A5/801 history and deterioration of position over time). A5 suddenly looks a better bet for them to get commercial oil in a given time so off they trot once more. 801 not even worthy of a footnote; although you never know when the sidetrack at A5 fails it might get a revisit. They have to be running on fumes now re.cash and fully expect some sort of funding package in due course. Baverstock merger is a complete red herring wrt ops problems; they have clearly stated that merger will be on equal equity terms to BNG split so it's irrelevant what the SP is. Most of the shareholders are in both camps in any case and Bav need BNG to work as much as Rxp do so no need to stage manage. As i said before if want a thoroughbred with quality mgt then stick to HUR; up 30% since i said that whilst the pox is off 25% in the same time (E1 to run the slide rule over %s !). Can't see much news here now for some time so SP to gradually fall back to 7-8p imo. Might become a speculative punt again at that point; although were the shallows not meant to justify the mkt cap at 11p.......cannot believe it fell at all today then !
