Thanks for the encouragement, Trek. It's been a tough wait (as for many others), but can see the light ahead now. As soon as Cascadura is producing cash then I should be back in the game, regardless of Royston ST result.
Too, as I have had no option to wait, it's given me more more time to do other things, so end of this month I will be off to South Africa for 2 months, working with animals - my kind of thing. Will be back early April, hopefully in the midst of great news here.

Presumably a large amount was matched at this level 8% higher than the current trading range.
Suggests to me that we'll be expecting trading at this level very soon - perhaps end of day?

Wish I hadn't thrown the kitchen sink at it one year ago at 114p Wooster - went 100% all in, and thus snookered when it fell. I was convinced they'd misread Royston, and there was going to be a quick turnaround in the SP - got that wrong!
I still very much believe in Royston - I think my main weakness here is that I'm not good at working out what other shareholders are going to do - seems far more profitable to get that right, than get what's right underground. Something to try and improve in the future.

Regarding 'PIs obviously spooked when Royston seemed to deliver a low volume of oil with high water cut but it was an exploration well set up expecting gas.
Finding oil in 3 zones it actually delivered in spades.
Placing and perforating the new well optimally for oil production we could be pleasantly suprised.'
Can someone (Tobin?) please explain how the drill will be set up and perforated differently in an oil well rather than a gas well, likely techniques used, risk /benefits, and perhaps what we might reasonably expect in bopd from what has gone before (preferably for each zone) - i.e. what flow will be reasonably regarded as a success. Thank you.

Good information on discord from Scott, David Black and Russell U:
Seems Eco's involvement (Guyana drills), Charuma and Guayaguayare bids are all focusing on Kraken and the cretaceous.
Scott writes 'One added piece since that then is that the oil we produced from Royston well has exact same characteristics as the oil in the guyana/surinam off-shore oil pools. And Kraken in particular has some favorable features mainly minimal post charge/maturation deformation. After being charged 5 million years ago Kraken has not moved...'

Possibly, H. I think today's announcement makes it improbable they will stray far from Ortoire. Perhaps they've seen something Guayaguayara way too? Hopefully all will be explained tomorrow.
Would be nice to get an interview whereby they can go into some detail, perhaps with maps, as to what they hope to find on today's new, and the bid round, acreage. Perhaps an explanation by Xavier Moonan would be helpful.

Despite rising interest rates and fear of global monetary collapse / hyperinflation, they should have had the balls to do so (on the back of Cascadura production - or is that no longer a certainty now?)- and got on with Royston ST a month or so back.

I expect to see the Royston sidetrack drilled (December/Jan) before Cascadura is online.
Coho online, and/or an advance against the VAT refund, should allow a bank loan, if needed, to undertake the drill.

Can anyone explain the layout of the site in some detail for simpletons, please; functions, and how it all works together?
Bottom left - mound?
Bottom right - water tank?
centre - storage towers and mast?
top left - site offices and roadway?
which way the pipeline goes?
north/south axis?
any filtering? separation? condensate? flaring? or all straight out of ground and down the pipe?

This is indeed a most exciting time for Touchstone as Coho provides first gas and ongoing substantial revenues. But there is much more to come and investors should be aware that today is just the beginning.

Expect the completion before long of the Cascadura production facility which will dwarf Coho but that is not all in the portfolio, there is much more to come. The management have said to me in the past that they are building a company, not something done in five minutes and I can see that happening here.

Add all the potential upside including exploration and development drilling at Coho, Cascadura and Royston which includes one very deep opportunity and you may see over 20 wells drilled in the next couple of years or so. Add to that the possibility of success at the Trinidad 2022 Onshore bid round where TXP will be represented cannot be ruled out.

I have heard Touchstone as being described as being a potential stock of the year for 2023, and with all this activity which includes a massive upwards shift in revenue from Cascadura and the positive nature of future cash flows I see significant upside which you never know might even yield returning money to shareholders one way or another.

Touchstone has a good and highly experienced management which I expect to deliver for shareholders big time, this is an exciting time for the company and the portfolio will transform the prospects for it over the next few months.

How long before the drilling plans are formally announced?
