I urge each of you to research this topic as widely as practicable in the time you have available, including looking at the WEF’s ‘Digital Identity’ plan, and how the scheme will eventually operate post pilot. (Note the massive risks the plan poses - especially as a potential ultimate sanction and control measure – as presently in use in non-democratic countries), and how such systems are linked not only to governments, but the big tech, main financial institutions, and big pharma companies. Then, once you have done the research, I urge you to participate in the consultation.

For those of us who have previously seen the list of fields and data planned for inclusion in the app when fully operational, this is not so innocent as the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport make out in the introduction to this consultation. It does say that they will not be mandatory – but we have heard that before recently on related issues, only to hear the announcement of a government U turn shortly afterwards, so do bear those U turns in mind.

Such a system incorporates biometrics and links to various control and surveillance systems. These mirror the Chinese social credit and integrated surveillance system currently in operation. (Indeed, the CCP offered to host other WEF member nation’s digital ID data on their own platform in 2020, but the UK chose to offer research and development contracts to 4 different companies, including some British ones).

In 2022, the Hilli will increase to 1.4 million tonnes per year, up by 200,000 tonnes. Furthermore, the upstream companies have linked the tolling fee to the Netherlands’ TTF price. On Trains 1 and 2, Golar has a tolling fee linked to Brent crude.
