251 feet of light oil !12 Jan 2020 18:38
Good evening all,
As a long term holder here, i rarely post, but do look in most days. I appreciate the research and valuable information the more informed posters on here share with other like minded investors like myself.
The forthcoming Charlie-1 well will, on success, be a truly company changing event for 88 Energy and its shareholders.
I believe the Charlie-1 will never give us a better opportunity to finally have that transformational news we all want for 88 Energy.
We will be targeting 7 stacked horizons across 3 different plays, 2 of the horizons will be tested. A bonus will be core samples for the HRZ.
This is one of the biggest oil wells to be drilled in 2020 and we could have 480M bbl to 88E on our 30% working interest. Premier have paid 23million for the honor of being our partners and are so confident they have even given a first production date of 2024 for the oil extraction in our Alaska acreage.
Most investors wanted a big oil major for the farm out deal, which would have meant giving most of the conventional play away along with operational control as to when and where we drill.
My own opinion is DW played a blinder by splitting the acreage up into A,B and C, getting a very good medium sized company to pay for the drill while retaining ownership of the drill as the operator. We also own all of B and C with potential for Premier to increase there stake for a further 15million on top. Splitting the acreage up was an option not discussed on here i believe before the farm out was completed.
The ex BP workers who now ply there trade with Premier, know the oil is definitely there, we know it is there, we just need the well to flow at 100 barrels or more to warrant a lateral drill at the end of 2020.
I certainly do not think i be the only one who will be getting extremely excited when the drill bit hits the ground in February....A fantastic opportunity for a successful and ground breaking drill.
Oil shows in any of the first 4 prospects will be a huge bonus, but the real fun will be in the 3 Stellar prospects which are the main targets. 251 feet of light oil ...bring it on !
Area A contains the Malguk-1 discovery drilled by BP in 1991, which discovered but never tested 251 feet of light oil pay in turbidite sands in the Torok formation, within the recently emerging Brookian play. Premier estimates an accumulation of more than 1 billion barrels of oil in place, based on the original well data and its evaluation of the existing 3D dataset.

Good luck to all genuine investors in 88 Energy, hoping for a successful Charlie-1 drill followed by a horizontal later in the year and a farmout to for our unconventional HRZ this summer.
Loads to look froward to in 2020, the year of 88 ENERGY.
