I am also very confident of a really good outcome with Winx as well.
The consortium did a fantastic job of moving quickly to to obtain this play from great bear who were in financial trouble at the time and needed to drill the prospect by May this year or lose the lease.
I doubt Rmp will ever get a better opportunity for a company making drill than the Winx prospect.
All the signs point to a successful conclusion for this drill.
Of course there are always risks associated with any drill the the oil industry, however we should be quietly confident that finally Rmp will give us share holders a very good return for our money.
I wonder If we do achieve a successful drill with commercial flow rates, where would that leave us ?
Ok our share price would be significantly higher. Would we sell our share of the asset to athe highest bidder, would the consortium sell off the asset to the highest bidder ?
Would Rmp be bought out as a whole. Would we raise more money and drill a couple of appraisal wells to significantly boost the value of the asset and then sell ? Raising at significantly higher share price would of course have little impact in way of dilution but the drilling of appraisal wells to increase our proven reserves would add Mullins to our value.
A bit early to speculate but nice to think that we could be in that very position in only 45 to 50 days time.

I take it you are now invested in Panr, you seem to have changed your tune since with Rmp since you invested here in June last year.

fter several years since I last researched this, I am back in with a small holding. I have no faith in GB since the Puntland cock-up days. However, I am here mainly for this new Alaska asset and, to some extent, willing to give the new CEO sometime to build a serious asset base, beyond Alaska. At this marketcap, the cash in hand and quality of asset they've just negotiated involvement into makes them look comparatively cheap imo. I care little for the other assets in their portfolio, they really do not excite me.

Nanushuk oil trend is huge and has been moving south/southwest of the giant Kuparuk River field for some years now. Many old wells drilled in the 80's and 90's had oil shows, the significance of which was not fully understood with old data. Armstrong have capitalised on this with the Pikka Unit and recently Horseshoe, which is a colossal 'step-out' from the main play fairway to the north. They believe the have uncovered a 3billion bbl oil play on acreage held by their consortium.

This 'western blocks' acreage is in a very good location. It sits between important oil discoveries - 1-2miles to the East of the major Horseshoe discovery and not very far West from Meltwater and Tarn oilfields. However, the most compelling aspect for me regards this western quad of blocks is the fact a well has actually been drilled into it, the Itkillik-River 1, which encountered oil in Shublik and other formations. 3D seismic & modern imaging seems to be indicating those encounters were in a poorly developed flank area with much better reservoir sands immediately south/southwest. This is what they will be going after, similar to Armstrong's strategy of exploiting old data.

The Winx drill is targeting multiple formations. They are the seebea, Nanushuk and Torok. All are proven sands within the other successful drills with the same seismic amplitudes.
So I would say totally related wouldn’t you ?

The coc chance of success is a obviously a very conservative figure.
With 26 consecutive successful wells drilled in the area, which by my maths equates to a 100% success rate and multiple proven targets to aim at with a huge discovery only 3 miles away, I would take the coc with a pinch of salt lol
The prize of a successful drill far outweighs the down side here.

The famous Australian racehorse Winx, which our well has been named after, has just won its 30th consecutive race in Aussie.
This has occurred as we have just spudded our well looking for the 27th successful drill on the trot.

Hopefully a very lucky omen for Rmp and it’s partners :-)

I would suggest the other partner 88e as a safer bet, they are awaiting news of a farmout to possibly a tier 1 major by the end of March for there huge conventional acreage for at 2 least 2 drills.
They also will be negotiating a farmout for their unconventional programme which should include a horizontal drill from there already drilled icewine 2 pad.
Then they have the Yukon gold project which they are awaiting results from a 3D last year, but was drilled successfully a few years ago with aa oil discovery but not deemed commercial at the time due to no infrastructure, which is now in place.
88e share price is very low and certainly undervalued at present and have 4 projects on the go with potentially billions of barrels of oil as a prize on their huge acreage.
On success at Winx Rmp will rise significantly more than 88e but will fall significantly more on a poor result.
I have been a long term holder in both Rmp and 88e for a few years and I believe the Winx drill is an excellent prospect for both companies.
I am especially happy for any long term holders of Rmp who, on success at Winx will make all there money back and plenty more.

ADV123. Rmp s share of the drill is 126mbb. Oilsearch paid 3 dollars per barrel to buy into the horseshoe commercial 1.2 billion barrel well 3 miles from us. They said that was a very good price at the time.
However we could expect between 5 to 10 dollars per barrel in a proven fairway at today’s prices.
So 126 x 5 to 10 dollars for oil in the ground on a sell out.
Bear in mind though the 400mmb target the consortium is after, was calculated by our partner Otto energy and this is based on only the Nanushuk zone. It does not include the Seabee or the Torok zones which are confirmed oil producing zones in there own right from other drills in the area.
Nor does the estimate cover all of our acreage, of which part is not covered by 3D seismic.
We could drill, have a commercial success and based on flow rates, the oil in place could end up being far more than the 126mmb attributed to Rmp at the moment.
We could also decide to drill a sidetrack or appraisal well to further upgrade our results as the horseshoe well did 3 miles away.
A very exciting and certainly a huge company making drill.
As for the share price, on a successful drill, who knows , many will buy in for a takeover or future upgrade to drilling results but it certainly won’t be anywhere near 4p.

I should know I have been following wildcat drills for ten years now - in places all around the world from Georgia to Puntland, Falklands, Namibia, Morrocco, Liberia, Mongolia, Greenland, Poland, Indonesia and many other places but unfortunately not one has been a success - hence my hardened attitude and strict NO HOLD policy which has saved me a fortune and lost me nothing in missed profits

As such all official RNS s will come from them, they are a very good level headed outfit and they do not ramp.
Seabee 4000ft Nanushuk 5000ft and Torok at 6000ft will all bring official company news , with hopefully a very good flow test at the end.
All will be know within approximately 50 days from now.

Maverick, Yes 5p was around the max on the Philippines drill. However this is a totally different drill, we are in an oil proven area with 3 proven target formations to aim at with a single drill and 100% successful oil wells all around us. We have modern 3d and a successful drill close by on our acreage in 1972 which flowed oil, and of course a 1.2 billion find 3 miles away.
Very different to a deep water wildcat gas drill in the middle of the ocean !
I think most investors will recognise that RMP finally has an very good chance of a commercial success with the Winx drill.
I think we will almost certainly have oil shows on the way down, and possibly in all three of the targets, which will only increase the level of interest as we drill down and with it the share price,
In my own opinion, we would be very, very unlucky not to strike oil, but of course this is the oil business and nothing is certain, but to me this is as good as you will get for a tiny exploration company like RMP.
By the way the Winx well was named after the current famous Australian Race horse, who has just won its 29 consecutive race.
We have 26 consecutive successful drills in the area, is there an Omen there :-)
But please do not invest because of a racehorse, although those invested will all be clear winners if this well comes in as planned lol

I do not think that Rmp or its investors will get a better chance of success with the Winx drill anywhere else at present.

Obviously any drill anywhere has its risks, but there is no denying that the lower risk versus the very high reward here is extremely attractive for RMP investors.

88e as the operator will update the market regularly. Oil shows and core cuttings will all be in any Rns conveyed to the market, which should increase positivism in the success of the drill.
I for one will look forward to the drill and i hope for all involved it will be a success.
We will soon find out...

Do not worry hypno, I would have thought most oil companies would have had a look in our data room already.

GPRD, I too have been in this share for years, through Puntland, Indonesia and the last 2 years of inactivity.
However Rmp has a really good opportunity here to make all your money back with this drill.
Try doing your research and perhaps you will be more positive about your chances to recoup funds, instead of being totally negative in a share you own.
If not just sell up, you should not be investing in high risk Aim shares if you continually worry night and day about your investment.
Rmp past is exactly that....the past ! Try concentrating on the present and the future with the Winx drill, this is a totally different prospect to anything in the past. A success here will get you your money back with plenty of profit as well, at least you have that opportunity now.
I do not ramp, having done much research ,i am very positive on success here.
Yes there are rampers on any board but least they are invested and want the share price to go up.
However there also are many disingenuous people on here who only deramp to spread fear and mistrust to satisfy there own agenda in a share they do not own. People like Islandgirl and Diver123 are serial derampers who hold no shares and have there own agenda.
Have a look at the success rate in the area of the drill 100%, one only 3 miles away, have a look at the proven multiple zones we are targeting, have a think why 4 companies in the consortium think this will be a success, have a look at the modern 3d slides showing the same amplitude in the nanushuk as the 1.2 billion barrel discovery 3 miles away.
We are targeting 400mbb and that is only on the nanushuk zone and does not include part of the area not covered by 3d, so we could in reality have a far bigger discovery than that being targeted.
This is not some wildcat drill in a dangerous and inhospitable part of the world, neither is it a very expensive deep water wild cat drill.
This is a drill in an oil rich, huge oil producing area with modern 3d, 100% success rate with easy logistics and a pipeline to production close by.
Perhaps you will realise what an excellent chance we have here of a commercial success, and why i am so positive about RMP finally coming to fruition.
