Still hold some free Accustem shares from the Tils meger back in 2020. Not been keeping up with whats happening. Do we see Accumstem running out of cash and winding up or there any chance the SP can move in the right direction?
Why are bitter pump and dump merchants reporting perfectly fine posts on here to get them removed. Truth hurts doesnt it? I called out David for his 'GDR 20p by the end of the day' and the some sad act has reported it and along with other posts from other people calling out the same thing. Get a grip.
This and RUA looking good for gains not just for today but the short to mid term as well.
David6576- why are you posting on the RUA board about what date a GDR investment is happening? You've been ramping the like out of GDR all day even claiming it was going to finish today at 15p-20p. I like the recent update from GDR but you know full well a placement is just around the corner and the SP will crash so stop trying to ramp it up on other boards.
Should see plenty of profit takers from GDR move into here as they know placing there is just around the corner. RUA looks set for a stong day tommorow as people catch on with funding all done, it being well oversold and great news in the pipeline.
I agree log term its good for the growth of the company but once the placing comes in anytime now the SP will tank in the short term. All the pumpers have already sold and moved on and will just come back and buy at a lower price. Novice investors will get caught at the top especially like days like today when some cretins were claiming 20p by end of the today. RUA is a better short trm bet IMO.
Traders have moved on after making their money over the last few days. This is now a risky buy because placing (which they need- thats not opinion thats fact) could be announced tonight or tomorrow or if not in the very near future. Traders are moving into RUA as that seems primed for a good day tomorrow.
I have just spoken to interactive investor to get an answer if these shares could be held in an ISA when poly leaves LSE and goes to AIX. They didn't know how this was going to work yet and were going to update shareholders in the next few days/weeks.
"UK stock market closed Easter." Correct but crypto is always trading 24-7. If you're worried about CGT there are plenty of ways around it.
@hahahehehoho. I'm all ears on how to get around GCT. I purchased £10k worth of Arb at 5p but its in a trading account as my ISA is maxed out. How does one avoid GCT selling crypto/shares once the £12.3 profit threshold is breached?
Thanks. Will give this a go.
Anyone here able to buy this share via ii? I am attempting to buy through them in a S&S ISA but the message im getting is this share isn't available online?...
Does anyone know if/when a final sale price is agreed will there be some sort of delay? Read somewhere on here that there will be a 30 day voting period where people need to vote whether to accept the offer. I'm not sure how accurate this is but worried the sale wont be concluded until new tax year when CGT will likely be hiked to the moon...
*30 day voting period
Does anyone know if/when the final sale price is agreed whether there will be a delay in the actual sale going through? I read on here that there would be a 30 voting period where people would vote on whether to accept the offer or not. I'm not sure how accurate that is but worried the final sale wont be concluded until the next tax year where the CGT will likely be hiked to 40%...
jimjam that's definitely something ive been thinking about, keep reading about the probable increase in CGT in the very near future. Could the increase happen before the next tax year or does the government have to wait till 5/4/21? I've not used my yearly £12300 allowance yet but if the sale is still pending end of March i may as well sell a few otherwise i'll lose the allowance. From what i understand i sit in the basic rate tax bracket so would only pay 10% CGT on some of the potential profit and then 20% on the rest. Might move to Malta for 5 years and get around it that way.
Thanks for the reply Wolster. Don't have a spouse and as ill be charged CGT on selling them before putting them in an ISA thats not really an option as im assuming the sale will be wrapped up by the time the next tax year starts. Got a wedge in ARB as well so im going to get taken to the cleaners by the taxman. Regarding your last point, are you saying even if i dont cash out any of my shares and leave them in my trading account ill still be subject to CGT?
My ISA allowance is topped up for this year as well but i saw the EUA too good an opportunity to miss out on so opened up a trading account with HL. Decent sum in there and was also wondering about ways to reduce CGT. I'm already way above the £12k tax free threshold if i sold now which i wont. If i transferred £20k of shares from my standard trading account into my isa in the next tax year would i still have to pay capital gains tax?
Hmm ive got the same dilemma as well. Brought 50k worth few months back and my average is around 105p. Ideally would like to top slice before the SP drops after demerger but I'm thinking if you wait till Monday 2nd November to get as many free Accustem shares as possible and then sell some to top slice, the SP will might have already dropped by the time the market opens? Could be difficult selling anything in large quantities on that day as well if the SP drops throughout the day...
mikebassetts- i've not sold though. The company is more or less fully funded for a while meaning no dodgy placings like a lot of companies on aim and with a such a small market cap/low amount of shares available it means it doesnt take a lot for the share price to move as weve seen today. If/when there is more good news, i dont want to be left on the sidelines grasping thin air trying desperately to buy shares where there are none available.
I invested here around 2 months ago. Why do some posters feel the need to give outlandish and unrealistic price predictions when a share spikes? it's not just on this board it happens everywhere. You have people throwing around baseless stuff like 'this will be double by next week' etc. I find this claims are rarely backed up by any kind of sensible rationale and these type of people are either cretins, dreamers or deliberately say this type of guff so they can sell out on a high. If you post a price prediction by in the future back it up with some context please otherwise new investors get caught out!
