RE: Hurricane Energy1 Jun 2018 17:45
2.5bn shares x48p = Company is valued at 1.2bn right now, yes?
This must be based on amount of oil x price of oil - costs to extract it.
How much oil is this based on + how much oil could will actually uncover if we get lucky?
If price of oil continues to rise a little... Let's say 20% more (Lucky again). What could HUR's valuation hit when we are extracting it + the SP climbs to it's actual worth, based on amount of oil there, price of oil at the time -Etc?
2 per share seems low, but is 5 per share achievable? Could 10/share ever happen without the price of oil doubling and the amount of oil there being significantly more than expected/hoped for?
I realistically think that mid-end of next year, when producing, the SP could be 2, which could then increase further, but not much higher than 3. Can someone more savvy explain how the SP could get above 3 per share, and how high it could go, please?
Also, if a big player like BP steps in, what increase could that achieve?
Thanks
