Anyone notice the news on the LSE homepage?
The UK & Swiss Govs. have signed an agreement to allow the trading in each other countries shares.

gggg21; It is a bit like your Birthday, the excitement building up to what goodies you might be blessed with.
We all have an idea that magic is going on in the background, behind the scenes, but cannot have a peek yet.
As for the share price, many shares have peaks and troughs, a bit like a sawtooth pattern, some of the chartists out there will have possibly answers for this such as moving averages and 50 day thresholds (I think are the terms used?), we just seem to be in that lull like we was in the summer when at the £2 to £3 mark, then the beast was let loose, this might be the same again?

gggg21; I really hope the team (or for the sake of us all, anyone) can nail a rapid PCR test, the LFTs might as well be thrown in the bin, as others have said, to many false results, I cannot be bothered to work out the sums, but for every single incorrect result meaning someone contagious carries on normally rather than isolating, could have a significant impact on their family or regular contacts.

My kids are at Uni, and to be fair to both of their places, they have done there best to carry on in a safe manner, keeping each flat etc as its own mini bubble, but as mentioned earlier, the problem lies with those who do not give a #### and are moving around as if nothing was going on.

I agree, but sadly there are those who do not believe this is real, or believe they are immune to it. It does not matter what level of lockdown you have and stick to, or how careful you might be, it will be those that dont give a #### and carry on as normal that will hold life back. Right from the start I have followed the guidelines whether at home or at work, (I have worked throughout this saga), I only go out to go to work or to shop, nothing else. At the first lockdown I went to help out at a sister company while my place furloughed, hundreds there at this other place, and I was very careful and mindful of what was evolving and how I went about my work, then after returning back, carried on in the same manner..but when we had the outbreak, I was genuinely hating going into work, scared even, with my colleagues dropping down like flies each day until there was not enough staff in to continue, only essential staff like myself remaining in until after Christmas, I was very very relieved when my planned holiday came round and I could have 10 days away.

Having now spoken to many of my colleagues who had confirmed cases of the virus, I would suggest JD might wish to have a rethink?
I also now wonder if I actually had a very mild case after speaking to my colleagues when they came back. I did not have any of the main symptoms so often spoken about, but I did feel wiped out after being at work for several days, which after reading up, fatigue can be a symptom. Why did I not have a test?, partly because I did not have any of the symptoms so often mentioned, and also because where as others were told to go home and have a test because of close contact, I was not. Blooming scary really.

I did hear today that we have now reached the 14 day timeline from Christmas, so hopefully the numbers will start to reduce?

Outbreak...this was despite everyone being temperature checked before entry and wearing visors while at work. We are about to do an LFT trial soon, I have put my name forward, as without being tested how will I know if I have or have had it? When I find out version of LFT is being used, I will post it..and I promise not to have cola etc beforehand to give a false positive!

To give an idea of how virulent this is, and guessing the new strain is at fault...where I work, we recently had an outbreak, and within a week approx 20 out of 30ish people on my shift had it, thankfully only 1 person hospitalised, and now back at work, some of the stories of just how debilitating it was did not make for good listening.

I would guess that it might not stop you being a carrier, asymptomatic, only protect you, but a start at least towards normal free movement. Sadly, I feel that vaccines being produced at a pace, might also mean they are also a human trial in progress, who knows as things are being done at a pace. A doubled edged sword as society now needs freer movement to function, but will the vaccines yet have a sting in the tail. I hope not. I would be somewhat reluctant having the vaccine so recently produced, but then having the vaccine will provide the option to being allowed out, so more yes than no. If the vaccines only currently protect for a limited time, it shows how vicious this is, compared to the MMR jab etc that is for life.

Agree, this is new and evolving each day.
The science, the testing, the vaccines, the masks and any other of the meriad of counter measures are all changing at a pace. All aiming at controlling or minimising the spread and reducing deaths and infections, with the aim of restoring some sort of normality. As things stand, this is not going away anytime soon, new mutant strains will see to that. The best mankind can do for now is minimise social contact, wear masks, and keep your distance.

Certainly not in the fast lane but....Mesh appear to be nudging forward with this.
Maybe, just maybe, 2021 will be the year all this is completed. At least we now have a new decade to see this snail over the finishing line.

The next RNS might also say they do not know why so many shares have been traded.

Nice to see the elusive pink diamond gets a mention again. Great IF they do find one, actually, massive, but then, so would be seeing the pink panther... Lol.

The BOD are one thing, the company another.
If you can look beyond or get past the negative, and focus on a company that is in the UK, that is about to produce 4 and 5 ply masks that the Gov. etc will be, or should be screaming out for, rather than purchasing from overseas. The company must be on about as much as a dead cert as you can be....unless the gov. would rather purchase from overseas for post brexit purposes. I do not ramp, or mean to ramp, but this has to be a winner....negative aside. Amiho of course.

Piohc1; highly unlikely we will see an RNS to say it has arrived, that would be a positive. No problem telling us it would be delayed as that was a negative.

Is this the only BOD around that avoid issuing a positive RNS at all costs, surely they want to be on every platform possible announcing the machine has arrived....beyond belief. Kill the SP as soon as they can, but delay helping it as long as they can...bonkers.
