Thanks all
Yes been looking briefly into detailed Modeling stage 1 and 2 I’ll research a bit more

Yes I could see it was a double edged sword for you with Extreme E and AFC as the benefits for AFC getting that phone call (AB getting on that plane at the time I recall him saying ) has no doubt excelled them into markets they would have found very difficult to reach .
At the end of it all as you say your an ecologist so let’s hope they can improve on the format and venues if AFC are involved or not
Not sure if anyone has seen this interview with AB

That’s something I was not aware off I was already thinking any deal could be difficult so that adds another layer to matters .
So that would be the majority of their bases ?
considering the amount of armoury at their disposal I would hope they would have secure enough facilities to be able to test any products selected safely without any concerns to the environment over the periods required or alternative locations unknown to us .
I don’t follow PHE but there are so many factors to consider
When trying to secure contracts and this can of course lead to delays if someone somewhere overlooks a import detail.
What ever the case with AFC and a possible link the extreme E event adds another layer of intrigue.
As we draw nearer the end to 2021 can I ask do you feel Extreme. E has been good for AFC and regarding the possibility of AFC another Season would you like to see us still participate in next year ?
Only as I know your views regarding the environmental factors
BB2 thanks for Sharing that link in this thread regarding the military yesterday
There are definitely (my own opinion) promising signs of us picking up another one of our projected Markets around the time of the Extreme E event or it would be a real shame not to given that we are trying to enter with the military and preferable UK military
The future solider guide attached is a good link
project Mercury
The defence battle lab
And of course the innovation centre also in Dorset (last extreme e event location) to be completed in 2022 and will facilitate prototype development and testing
Looking forward to the last race with intrigue
Either way really good to see the Uk army ideas and how their role is developing is this ever changing world

Nice insight into the change this will cause
There is such a gap in the market if the mace trials go well
if our product is deemed a cost effective option
and as important
a suitable product that can be installed on varied different site set ups
Thanks BB2
Sorry I’m at work and should have look through posts better before responding
Sorry athansius I take back my last post that is very disappointing and a missed opportunity if this is the case
Ok so if they are to unveil anything ( a possibility) tomorrow at AFC or just use this as a stop to refuel on route or at anytime during that trip then this could be a reason for them stay in tight lipped ? That would be a positive no ?
They are on the same route and would almost be passing by dunsford on route
I’m not sure if their other partners they are stopping off at have liked the post this is something I will look at later

I’d love to see that Porsche being parked for charging with help from the AFC fuel cell at one of these locations
Part taken From the link
As part of the “ABB Road To COP”, ABB will showcase the ease of undertaking a long journey in a state-of-the-art EV, by driving a Porsche Taycan from the south coast of England to COP26 host city Glasgow. The journey of approx. 750km will be undertaken in one day, with charging stops at a number of ABB partner locations. A short film about the trip will be produced to highlight the many benefits of
e-mobility.
I also bet old Iian Thompson is kicking himself not staying on a bit longer to hand out some of his personal business cards to the bigwigs
Oh well his lose
Go get em Adam what another great opportunity sitting next to the mighty McLaren in a prime spot in Cop26 who would not want to pop over there and take a look at that set up
Yeah don’t read too much into that today Mace are more than on board with AFC you only have to go back and re listen to the podcast from MACEs Will Allan to late August this year to know how much potential AFC have in changing the landscape and the potential to rid us all of these diesel generators for good - we are really getting in at the right time aligning us with new legislation in the construction sector
I agree with another poster this may have been in reference to a previous trial from another party that we know proved to costly and had nothing to do with AFC
https://lnkd.in/dtctYZit
Around 10-30 in on spotify
I’m sure previously posted but is always worth another listen to Will Allan of Mace again to know the potential they see in AFC
Their daily podcasts at COP 26 have also been very interesting And a great idea
Can’t see our AB going doing a daily podcast but would love to see regular posts from him at every opportunity
First Harry then charles whos next Greta Biden , Boris any bets
Fun times beats the Days of Stade for sure GLA

Thanks for the De Nora link :-),agree when ever Lucas mentions us it’s usually always a good sign
This time though it almost feels he is promoting De Nora rather than lending AFC a hand and if so that’s an even better sign
