May take a drive down it’s local to me see if there is any sign of AFC at one of ABB stands all the big players there
Can’t see any sign of AFC but thought they may/could have had a speaker
Great post on Peel with the you tube link thanks very informative
I fully support that comment Jim it’s hard not for this not to be a topic on any board.
Whilst I agree AFC need to be held accountable to share holders we must also realise that we are in a different type of war by means of supporting Ukraine and sanctions to deter Russia. This will include at some stage over time to stop any dependency from oil and gas from Russia and anything else that may try to end this conflict . That in my opinion would mean trying to support fully companies such as AFC who may have a role to play in this over the coming months or years .
I will be making a donation today it is the very least I can do.
Preying for an end to this occupation and peace in Ukraine .

Just a more decent link on how green the series is and is trying to become including the st Helena (which is set to be replaced by greener power in future seasons once a viable solution has been realized),
Yes I agree totally confusing Mucksy
I have written to them by email a week back and asked why they can’t issue a case study on the L series on their website from season 1
I normally get a response maybe I’m lucky but not on this as yet
And thanks for your research over those years
Trev
Been looking at this site and to me it look very very promising this could be the first test bed site for AFC
The mention of reducing water consumption less noice during the process for neighbours etc
The timing of the ground works which on another site mentions finishing shortly and construction to begin in March - this one has my hopes up (again ) one to keep your eye on I fully agree
Nice link also in highways today on hydrogen mentioning afc energy and mace tie up
https://highways.today/2022/02/04/hydrogen-driving-construction/
Possible test site
https://pbsanews.co.uk/2022/02/02/greystar-and-psp-investments-start-work-on-chapter-london-bridge/
Looks like at Helena has landed in the Middle East and I’m sure I see AFC hydrogen fuel cell technology on board
Hope all the true LTHs are well -

Well they are still increasing staff I’ll have a look and update the list to show recent further uptake in staff at the company over the last couple of months
Most recent employment opportunity below
Check out this job at AFC Energy plc: Marine Engineer

It can’t be just that BB not for a brand new facility anyone would have wanted to show that off
I just think the warehouse was not fitted with anything and they wanted to keep that under wraps
I agree the PR is so so poor I have complained on this this week It’s like they want investors to walk away or be shaken from given up share shares
It’s easily sorted but why it’s not a priority is beyond me
Regarding the hanger I think they were more worried about earlier snaps of the old facility they placed on line showing just one unit and an empty space it got a lot of negative spin .
It’s only when I found those images on line showing the completion of the refurbishment they seemed to later publicise it but only really mentioned office space
Looking back it was clearly an empty warehouse space excluding the very nice fitted out office spaces and just being used for office space at that time .
I was keeping tabs on that all year and found nothing new .
The thing I like about the test being undertaken on the cranes is also the cross over of the L series to marine/ports
Also it’s a real robust test of the l series just due to the nature of the way a crane operates and the power required during those movements
I am very happy and I am sure AFC are too its a robust longer test for them and also give me a chance to research into possible sites they may use
This could be one such site and goes back again to hs2 possibilities
https://www.constructionenquirer.com/2021/09/24/20-tower-cranes-planned-for-hs2-euston-station-job/
Mace have also used mammoet In the past and they are huge too and it would nice to see afc powering such crane types

For me it’s now firm confirmation of us trying to enter another one of those key sub sectors they were reviewing as far back as the 2019 presentation.
It’s a great bit of publicity finally being presented by AFC on line and lets hope of more to come and they can open up slightly more during extreme E as
AFC has been even more than usual blacked out on line of late which has been most unhelpful
With the event being in the uk I would like to see as much publicity ramped up as they can muster and to get as much as possible out of this event .
Very pleased again with this and I hope AB was at his very best and It went well for AFC
Sorry relabelled incase lost in other subjects

One and only post on the subject as I try to only point out links and will only respond to what I believe are real investors but I am also convinced by that southerhay I’m glad you have pointed out your opinion .
I have been continuing to report on this and have written multiple times to LSE
Ps looking forward to extreme E in the UK this weekend I only watched a minimal amount during lockdown but for once have some time to catch up with the end of season final
This weekend, George Hammond at the FT reported that some of the UK’s largest construction firms including Mace, Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure and Willmott Dixon , coordinated by Mark Robinson at SCAPE , have called on the Government to overhaul the procurement process for public building projects to factor in carbon impact, rather than solely focusing on costs.
This sort of push from the majors could really help assist companies such as AFC further as they progress into this key market

Hard talk John kerryToday 02:11 (Right title )
Fascinating interview with John Kerry - absolutely one of BBC s best shows everrrrr
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0012dx7/hardtalk-john-kerry-us-special-envoy-for-climate
I’d recommend the whole interview but regarding energy and the United States you can view this from about 16 mins in (if you have a tv licence :-) ) till the end. It just give you/me a real honest insight in to the money that is going to be put in the energy sector by the biggest us banks over the next ten years and the huge momentum around the world that is gathering since cop26 and also how Biden is able to utilise his power next year into going further.
Climate change is man greatest threat for our/My kids and our/my kids kids that is the hard reality we are faced with
I hope all posters appreciate that when posting certain crap there is a bigger picture out there.
Forget about all the other dirty sea saw crap that goes on here daily it’s up to you what you do with your money or your target but being invested in these energy companies really give me extra motivation outside money to will them on and research what I can whilst I still hold confidence in the company I’m invested in .
Sorry rant over great interview though and have a great weekend all honest investors :-)
