Hi Alfa watch series 2 of the IFBF with that comment by Adam Rousselle about BMN and Mikael being the centre of all things VRFB in the future.
I also just caught the start of the next episode on youtube with the inventor of VRFB 's Prof. Marie stating her comments on that second series.
The two things that caught her eye was the Leasing model that BE helped develop to allow them become investable to masses and the sheer energy storage levels required by date centres going forward. She said the only feasible long duration storage technology for the 10-14 hours quoted by energy storage investors will be VRFB's.

The thing that struck me the most is the Life of mine is 9 years for Largo and unsure if that includes increased production.
They may have the opportunity to expand on this with further studies but will be limited no doubt and cost additional funds. If the grade is reduced this could reduce profitability or even feasibility to keep mining.
BMN on the other hand will have enough resource until many of us won't be on this earth with spare for off-take.
Still I want Largo to do well as the world outside of China needs the V industry for VRFB's to take off.

Placees are making a profit if they have been selling from 30's downwards for instance. If they have doubled or tripled their money then they won't mind selling at break-even now to remove their position Bassguy.
They may have no malice just investing money elsewhere or achieved their target, which came earlier than planned from the V hike.

I think Golden Summit helped boost the SP to 48p buying their millions on the open market. Those 100m plus shares from the 2018 placing are likely the ones that have been sold for over a year now @ 10.3p plus.

Watching and reading about flow batteries from recent links, it seems soon as investment grade warranties are available then mass take up of VRFB's will not take long.
I noticed Microsoft have a zinc bromide flow battery and awaiting the announcement from BE contracts to act as an inflection point for VRFB's.

For me it does not matter how much of the packages they get, but the fact they are part of this will change the worlds perception of BMN being a Junior Miner to a vertically-integrated energy storage company.
We have all been very patient waiting for this inflection point.

BBN has been saying on twitter for a while until NERSA have their say he expects no announcement. So hopefully fireworks if BMN get all or some of the first package in the coming weeks, soon as NERSA give the go ahead.
If we split the 840MWh 8 packages evenly then 105MWh is up for grabs. How much V is needed for that?

Will the delays in the other 7 packages help BMN get the Electrolyte plant built, Enerox completion and allow them to show their capabilities for future tenders?

Hi Soup I’m with you with regards to data not needed but just an opinion as they are looking At ROW.
However I’m at work and unable to look this up but had this thought.
Is Tranilast only licenced/approved for use in South Korea and Japan only? If so the human trials can then only occur In that region and we need a partner based there to conclude further trials quickly. Elsewhere may require approvals from the regulatory bodies to initiate., which delays matters.
With NXP001 I assume The original drug is FDA approved and delivery was kept via the same method so less hurdles to strike a deal.
This is all my made up theory which could be wrong but just another opinion.

Just watched some last night and watching a little now. Data centres of FAANG's could take all of our V for VRFB's in a blink.
I thought this presentation would be too geeky but it is very interesting and where demand will be coming from.

Hopefully Bill Gates has his eye on BMN after all he thinks flow batteries are the future for powering and cooling data centres.

Hopefully one of them, between the BOD can get a major deal over the line.
I don't know if Chris will be any better than Dan and maybe we will have to wait until a new CEO comes next year after a placing to see a blockbuster deal or T/O.
I'll be real, I know my investment has big risks but I'm here to see it out to multiples of my average or zero.
I did not feel any change in emotion to sell on a 100% rise or 70% drop whatever agenda-driven people say on BB's. Must be how Julian Higgins feels with a likely higher Average than mine.

Hi Jiving you are missing the most important person in the company when you are talking about being pushed by the BOD.
That is Joanne the cofounder and also the person that's heavily involved in producing these pipelines in the lab.

The reason he was pushed is because he missed deadlines and investor expectations for deals and this is shown by the SP. The Times leak was under his watch and so was China failure if you want to look at it another way, even if he was the one not causing it. I believe JH had a role as she is joint highest shareholder and missing her chance to be rich after many years of hard work and promises.
Potentially Kissei do not want to deal with NFX due to the loss of honour when it may have had a done deal for Q1.
Maybe they wanted Dan/others gone to get back on the table with NFX, but COVID means end of the year.

I also think Ebers may have been DT's deal as he is now Chief scientific officer for them (Soups investigative work).

Vistagen is the BOD's 3 pronged strategy to get more short term income as mentioned in the yesterday's interviews and not just Dan's work either.
Good luck Dan as I know he worked hard and tried but CEO's have to answer to the SP and business progression.

Just short term traders Investing for a 50% hike which will 5-6p and not enough for most of us faramog. Regardless this is way undervalued and those of with the bottle will be rewarded in the future.

I agree about Ebers, as you expect a few million in the bank from them by now if the deal is worth upto £51m. Another hope is Ebers crack on with selling their products as the royalties would hopefully help even if it is not immediately.
Now COVID lockdown disruption is reducing, you'd hope the team are cracking on with patents as this is an easier way to gain revenue than looking for new collaborations.

He mentions Ebers is very important for immediate and short term revenues so hopefully nothing to worry about on that front.
One patent post period and one in September 2019 . Do you know what the stipulations of the contract? i.e. how many patents and timescale etc?

I'm just glad he acknowledges this for investors and understands a turnaround is required hence the new strategy.
A prudent cautious outlook is what most companies are providing so this does not concern me as long as there is a plan.

Just had a look at the accounts I do not think salaries were that high so ignore that regarding cashburn and deferred payments.

Goup thinks no NXP002 deal but a takeover or merger which I do not rule out, but the RNS talks differently to me.
They have mentioned they are continuing with discussions in Asia and awaiting access to key personnel. The good news is they are looking beyond Asia (likely a new approach without Dan) and I think broadening their horizons is less restrictive and potential to get more money more quickly.
With current cash I think they need to look at deals based on money before the 'right' deal like Dan used to say which has probably cost us a lot of time.

I expect more deals like Vistagen's if that is the new strategy to gain additional revenues and boost the SP, even if lead programmes are delayed until the end of the year.

Joanne being Co-founder/main scientific cog will not want all her hard work and potential to become a multi-millioniare go to waste for a £100k salary. I wouldn't be surprised if it is her frustration with not getting deals over the line that led to the changes.
Chris now being full-time means he has plenty of work to do and also takes the doubt away about finding a new CEO this year. This adds stability and direction. Delay's were inevitable with COVID and board changes but at least they are honest this time and no false promises made about imminent deals. I prefer under-promising and over-delivering.

All in all JH the most important member of the group is still here so until she goes I'm staying for the long term, as she is the only one who is un-replaceable.
