Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
How dull.
Great RNS and a nice rise today. Hopefully a bit higher before the end of the day...
It'd be nice if this rose with everything else today... I'm waiting for the magic mid-twenties with baited breath....
I got out of these this morning. And furious with myself that I didn't get out sooner. Good luck to those still in.
At last, movement. And in the right direction. Woop!
The attention isn't really on this today. I wonder where it is... LOL
There was a GOOOOD trading statement released this morning. "Group revenue for the year ended 31 December 2008 was ahead of expectations at £100.9 million (2007: £98.6 million)." "The Group enters 2009 with an order backlog of £34.5 million (2008: £34.7 million)." "The Group remains cash generative, and therefore has the capacity both to invest in organic growth and where appropriate, to make tactical acquisitions building on the Group's excellent track record of acquisitions." Also, the balance sheets are healthy. It seems that the CE is making a positive re-shuffle and keeping the order books full in the process! Anybody have any thoughts on this? I like a 'wet finger in the air' before putting money down.
So... when will WE hear the results?
Considering the amount of time it has taken for this deal to be agreed... but I would've thought shareholders are almost certain to vote for the takeover. It seems a good price to me. And if this happens, surely anyone who buys in now would definately get profit wouldn't they? Maybe? I don't know - I'm really new to all this.
Incidentally, I don't quite understand why this SP is hanging around. As I understand it, the bid is for 1250p per share. So as the current SP is 1070, why aren't people buying these up to profit from 180p per share? Am I missing something?
I had an email from my broker yesterday, telling me they were sending me the offer document in the next couple of days.
Well, it was boring until this large drop. I guess that RNS was predictable given the current climate, but its still a shame. Anyone else watching this?
Are they stalling? With all the recent market turbulence, and the drop in the price of oil, its making me edgy.
I find it hard to believe the price of oil will fall so dramatically. On what basis did this pundit make such a prediction?
This has been doing very well the past couple of weeks. Hmm. Has it just peaked though?
I'd also like to know this. Do we just wait until we are offered the sale? Or do we have to approach them?
