Well, yeah. I know that. I wouldn't be investing if I didn't know what the FTSE was! My point was they didn't seem to be speculating. It was like someone had read it. But I've seen no RNS. Wondering if I should be looking elsewhere for FTSE relegations etc...

Great future here. I bought in this morning. I heard a great BBC Business Daily podcast yesterday, preaching the virtues of solar energy. There was also some very exciting news about how the development of Solar is set to speed up considerably. The development of solar was compared to the importance of the development of semiconductors. Despite the poor results from the German counterpart, from looking at PVCS figures and historical success, I believe these could bounce back up to the mid-80s soon and then just comfortably reach £1 by mid-August.
Danny - true there is potential for a rise. But have you ever read Paul Collier's The Bottom Billion? War being one of the biggest causes of a poverty cycle. The more recent it is you have come from conflict, the more volatile the situation is. So that is a VERY risky area to invest in isn't it?
