That will keep all USA EV Charging Station companies and grid providers busy for years, and ABB supply to many of the Charging Station companies including the big ones. Anywhere that the grid can't cope or does not exist, AFC based chargers will be on offer from ABB very soon.

Cheekboy2, correct! The £1m is a financial gain for AFC and the 100kW is the trigger for the payment, so has to be an RNS.

BuenaVista, multiple AFC RNS mention the 100kW being expected by year end. The most recent one (which must have been based on progress to date on the 100kW system) was on 29 June 2022 and stated:

"Next milestone payment of £1 million due upon delivery of initial 100kW unit scheduled for this year"

What it does not say this time is 'expected', it says 'scheduled'. What that tells me is that they knew enough about the progress of the 100kW to move it from 'expected' to 'scheduled', meaning it is scheduled in for delivery this year, and therefore we should expect it to be an RNS this year, unless it gets delivered on 30 or 31 December, in which case it would then be an RNS on 4 January 2023, the next trading day.

I just had my usual look into QFI's import/export declarations.

Fuel exported, I suggest this could be for the Wartsila testing which QFI expect the report from before year end. Timing seems appropriate:

With both Membranes available to the S Series 100kW, building a '100kW High energy dense S Series' for ABB has no dependency on Membrane for completion, thus it could be built in parallel to the Power Towers using the same technologies that work in the Power Towers, and just upscale the stacks from 2.5kW each to 10kW or such like.

I also wondered at the time why the ABB 100kW was never stated as compatible with Ammonia or Methanol, which leaves the question wide open on which Membrane it will use from a fuelling perspective.

IMVHO it was worded this way so that they could use Alkamem if it was at a stage where they could use it in a 100kW commercial system, if not they just use the same Membrane that is used in the Power Tower (because it is already a commercial Membrane and needs no R&D, it can go straight in and work as expected). This removes any risk of upscaling Alkamem to 100kW size, as AFC can still deliver a 'High energy dense S Series' by year end whether Alkamem is ready in time for 100kW or not.

'High energy dense S Series' just refers to the stack physical characteristics, it dos not dictate which Membrane is used within it.

The Power Tower uses 'High energy dense S Series' stacks, it does not use Alkamem, so the 'High energy dense S Series' is not 'Alkamem only'.

TOM currently at a pathetic MCap of £7m. At that valuation it is priced to fail and become a shell that is reversed into by a company wanting a ready -made listing.

Will it fail? I'd put the chances at less than 1%. What I'd put as >99% chance is completion of what we were told in the recent RNS:

"The Company is currently in discussions to secure a potential non-equity funding package for Greenfield, that would, inter alia, enable Greenfield to ultimately acquire the remaining 90% of the Membership Interests in TSHII and cover the currently estimated construction costs of two commercial scale oil sands separation plants and requisite associated supporting infrastructure to enable the future mining of oil baring sands at the TSHII site."

"one scenario that is currently under active consideration would involve TomCo disposing of a majority stake in Greenfield to a partner(s) in return for, inter alia, certain upfront cash consideration, a continuing equity participation for TomCo in Greenfield without the requirement for further capital contributions from TomCo and the provision of a sizeable funding package to Greenfield."

Also, Valkor keep extending the loan because they want Tomco to co-exist, they do not want Tomco to become a shell.

Big rerating once the deal is done IMVHO.

When I say I've bought or sold, it's fact. Makes no odds to me what anyone makes of it, as all I am doing is stating that I've bought and am looking forward to expected news.

Do I know any more than anyone else about this stock? No.
Do I know enough about the company and it's operations to make an educated decision on whether to buy the stock or not? Yes.
Do I look at the pathetic MCap of £25m and laugh at how cheap the stock is? Yes.
But that's all my opinion, everyone else can make their own mind up.

And here we see that the S Series air cooled or liquid cooled systems can be either Alkamem or Hybrid Membrane:

Maybe being 100kW liquid cooled will make it Alkamem, maybe not. Either way, the £1m milestone payment requires AFC to deliver a 100kW system to ABB, and they have 8 working days to report that event to the market.

The S Series is set for validation at 100kW scale in the second half of 2022 as part of the ABB deployment announced a few weeks ago. Scale up of the batch-to-batch manufacturing process is underway and is a precursor to a larger mass produced "reel to reel" process. "

Then do then confuse things for investors by also stating:
"The AEM "S" Series platform is being accelerated through the ABB sale agreement, across each of the "air cooled" and "liquid cooled" platforms with early delivery of a 100kW liquid cooled system expected in late 2022, and a 200kW liquid cooled system deployment, integrated with an Ammonia cracker, pencilled for early 2023."

I added 2m to my hoard of TOM shares today. We seem to be creeping up nicely since the bottom was hit, I'd say that point was well oversold hence the market is happy to pick up the stock.

I added 1.1m to my QFI hoard today. (4 x 250k, 100k). Well happy to get them at this price. Roll on the Morocco trial and it's results, plus test results from Wartsila, and then on with all things MSC progressing.

I added another 1.5m AEX shares to my hoard today (1m, 250k, 250k). Roll on those 3D results (Ruvuma and Kiliwani) in the new year.

Whilst all the trolls were talking sheet as usual, I grabbed a few more AFC at this bargain price.

As for the 100kW S Series for ABB, it has to be competed by year end for AFC to bag the £1m milestone payment, and that will have made it their top priority project ever since the agreement was signed in November 2021.

The Power Tower has been proven to work at AFC and at a few construction sites. The 100kW S Series uses the same technology as the Power Tower, so it's not exactly rocket science to build a 100kW version in parallel to building the Power Towers. ABB is also our massive partner and AFC will be doing everything they can to keep them happy. So still plenty of time to announce their S Series (which may have already shipped, but not be an RNS until it's physically delivered to ABB).

So no worries here, hence happy to buy more while the stock is so cheap.

Shorting needs to be banned if the UK is to be taken seriously by international investment. It is wrecking our pensions and PI investments, it is wrecking UK smaller companies, the only winners are the hedge funds and scum shorters. Tell them!
