Yeah, Miguel is the guy from the AFC Power Tower video, the guy with first hand knowledge of the Power Tower and dealing with AFC. He comes across as very happy indeed!

We do not know if the £1m was contingent on 'delivery in 2022' or contingent on 'delivery of initial 100kW unit", either way, with just 6 months to go, AFC were confident enough to state the target in RNS.

Going back to what Miguel posted:

We all (should) know that the first systems are a lot more expensive than mass produced. We also know Acciona are using Green Hydrogen which will be more expensive.

Now fast forward to mass production, Power Tower systems are now going to be cheaper than diesel gensets, and even cheaper if using low grade (not green but maybe grey) Hydrogen, cheaper still using Ammonia or Methanol.

SO should also not be presenting because of the amount of mistakes he made, which makes the audience wonder if he knows what he's talking about and if he knows what he's doing in his job.

I've been on training courses on presenting. The speaker should practice their speech and hone it to perfection, they should direct it at the audience with eye contact spread across the room, they should not speak to the screen (like SO was often).

It's not like he does a presentation every day, he's had weeks to practice this one, but it wasn't impressive. Note the guy bottom left in the first part of the video, he wasn't paying any attention, looked like he was doing stuff on his phone.

So WRT the S Series, the Power Tower was delivered in August, but not set up and powered on until around 20 September. And the first RNS we got was on 3 October.

So it's easy to see that based on that precedent, the S Series could easily have been delivered in 2022.

So the Power Tower was turned on around 20 September, as the RNS said it had been running for 300 hours, just need to work back from the day of the RNS to work that out.

Then add 2.5 months and the trial finished around the end of the first week of December, which is when I think the AFC video was shot.

It's just about the Power Tower not the fuelling strategy. Nowhere in the video does he mention any fuelling strategy, not Green Hydrogen, not Ammonia, not Methanol, despite all of those being in play prior to the test of the Fuel Tower.

Also, the Methanol Tower is likely still under development as it was a pilot test for it, so AB not mentioning after it had been there is no surprise to me.

Also, look at the weather, this looks like December weather for Cadiz to me, so I'd say weeks old not months old when it would have been blazing sunshine.

Power Tower online around 20 September 2022, a 3 month trial would complete on 20 December.

Methanol Tower successful on 7 November 2022

Miguel says 'THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE PILOT' which means after 7 November minimum and after 20 December for a 3 month trial.

There's no way Miguel would have said 'THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE PILOT' prior to testing the Methanol Tower, as at that point the trial would have still been running!

I don't think the video is months old, that makes no sense to me.

The Methanol Fuel Tower was only there for a short period, and then the trial was declared successful, so no need to keep it there when they still have cylinders of H2 gas on site to use up, and no bulk Methanol supply set up.

And it's clear enough to me that this video is from the end of the trial not the beginning, as per the words from Miguel:

'THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE PILOT' means that testing is now DONE and AB can get onto the business of sales of Power Towers to Acciona (or the Hire company they use).

Good news for AFC with respect to procuring any semiconductor chips it might need to fill bulk orders.

Eventually the market resigns the no longer relevant history to history, it looks at what the company has now and in the future, it wakes up and smells the coffee. That time should be now. I can see some smaller ii's picking up EDR, EOG and UJO over the next few weeks (DD takes time!).

Perhaps suggest to QFI that for any future projects in other countries or islands, that they ship a small irrelevant amount of MSAR and bioMSAR to the client. This will ensure that any hold ups at customs with importing a new type of fuel can be dealt with well before they get to the point of shipping trial volumes. Shipping one litre of fuel to Morocco once the trial date had been set, would have meant no delay to the trial fuel batches.

It's surely got to lift off at some point with performance that amazing!
