Rumour is that the Public Investment Fund that has a load of shares in them, wants to buy the rest.

It's MCap this morning was US$16,217,111,501

It's MCap is now US$32,543,920,000

Yeah, it's gone up $16 BILLION so far today!

I wouldn't say that sharing useful information with other investors is a waste of time. For many investors (and I do not count chartists or short term swing traders in that), making a decision to invest (or invest more) means having as much information as possible on which to base investing decisions. This board has supplied many useful pieces of information over the years, you just have to know what to believe and how each piece fits into the picture.

The last 4 Ruvuma RNS are listed below. 1 Sept, 1 Nov, then 28 Nov which could have just been early by 3 days instead of 1 Dec. No RNS 1 Jan makes sense as not much to report over the XMas period and they may not have even had a meeting with ARA due to staff holidays.

RNS 1 Feb (or even 30/31 Jan) does make a lot of sense being as BG says, nothing advised on Ruvuma operations for 3 months.

Moving domicile there, is just a way of bypassing sanctions to keep Russian investors happy. Many investors seemingly are not happy with that, due to what Russia is doing to Ukraine. Any ii's would likely have to pull their money if POLY moves there. Hence a load of people pulling money out for one reason or another.

Then there's the question of whether a secondary listing can and will be maintained in London. Because POLY will be dealing with Russian investors from it's new domicile, the UK sanctions could block anyone in the UK from trading the stock.

This is definitely one to weigh up the risk/reward on, and it's up to each persons level of risk as to whether they buy/hold/sell.

As said by others, any move will need to be voted on at an EGM, which would have to be announced with plenty of time, and thus anyone holding the stock will stil have time to re-evaluate the situation at that time.

Great time to buy at a discounted price.

AFC don't do announcements just to please fickle shareholders. Every announcement costs money and I don't want AFC wasting money on pointless announcements.

We all know there is plenty going on behind the scenes, with the Acciona and other Power Tower trials finished not long ago, and therefore companies and AFC in talks over rollouts to sites, potentially involving big construction equipment hire companies (thus a complex tri-party arrangement to work out). Also, the S Series could be with ABB already and undergoing integration with their EV Charger, or it could be announced as shipped any day. And there are plenty of other things going on.

AFC do not have circa 100 staff sitting round twiddling their thumbs.

Like the Grolsch, news will arrive when it's ready, not before.

Absolutely BG, still 10 weeks in which to spud. We know ARA appear to meet with AEX at month ends, so let's see if we get an update in early Feb, as we are not at nail biting time yet, and a long way from squeaky bum time, despite those on here intent on causing panic when none should exist.

RUVUMA BLOCK GAS DRILLING TO BE COMPLETED ON TIME

Minister of Energy Hon. January Makamba, has instructed the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) together with the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA), to ensure that the Ruvuma block gas extraction project in Mtwara region is completed on time.

Hon. Makamba said this on 25/11/2022 in Dar es Salaam during the signing ceremony of the Additional Production and Revenue Sharing Agreement (PSA) Ruvuma-Mtwara block between the Ministry of Energy, TPDC, ARA Petroleum Company and the Company Ndovu Resources.

I really don't get why you think there won't be an announcement ever, when obviously there must be an announcement within the next 25 trading days:

There's 10 weeks to the end of March, so I for sure will not be panicking about no rig RNS for several weeks, as spud date is March not Jan or Feb, and could be the end of March not the beginning.
