One thing I do know is that around 12-16 of each month, AFC's import/export data is released for the month before last. So if AFC shipped a 100kw S Series to ABB in December, we would see that appear in the data. This tells me that AFC would have to announce it prior to the report if they had shipped it, otherwise part of the market would know and the rest wouldn't, which is not allowed by the rules and regulations.

I understood that bit, I was replying to the rest of your post, not defensive just stating my position on things so that everyone here knows where I stand.

Compare to peers is the easiest way to get an idea of where success would take AFC.

AFC £191.2m
CWR £931.2m
ITM £693.5m (even though having loads of issues and will lose over £85m to £95m this year, as stated in their RNS recently)
PPS £203.3m

AFC 735.24m shares in issue, so £1 per share is £735.24m. Easily attainable with good sales of Power Towers and S Series. I'd double it before even blinking at the sell button, just on the ABB and construction site potential.

As stated, and now restated, and everyone should have the same position instead of jumping to conclusions, worrying about it in the back of their mind:

If things change then I'll deal with it at the time. I am full invested here with a big holding, I'm going nowhere, I don't need to prepare myself for anything, whatever transpires on drilling date is not a big deal to me, as I am looking past the commercial gas sales in early 2024, and the well is sure to be drilled in time for the gas to go into the newly constructed pipeline.

ARA can update AEX whenever they choose. The rig could be on site now, but if ARA don't see that as material news (if they deem that only the spud is) then they will just update AEX as part of their next Operations Update to AEX. So just because AEX have not announced it, dos not mean it hasn't happened. That's what happens when another company is operator, other partners have to rely on that operator for information.

Going back to this thread, someone just bought 6.86% of Tomco. Likely the buyer of the 3 big chunks a couple of weeks ago.

Nobody chucks that kind of money, about £2m, at Tomco unless they are sure it's going to pay off.

Could be, especially as the 3 big chunks a couple of weeks ago were 2 on LSE and one on the USA OTC. The one on OTC was $40k, the two on LSE when converted from GBP to USD were also $40k each, plus all 3 trades were after the US market open, all of that suggesting to me at the time that it was a USA buyer

That is a massive chunk of stock to just pop up out of the blue! Going from under 3% to 6.86% is a big jump in one go.

I did say I suspected a big buyer in the background.

Google picks up a few interesting guys of that name in London, do a search for:

I just did a test and was offered 25.7438p for 10,000 shares, 25.7226p for up to 100,000 shares. That is above the advertised MID of 25.5p!

I can even get a live quote to sell up to 1m shares at 24.76p. So someone wants the stock! Maybe Bronte are buying their short back, finally, after a year of having it sat there doing nothing, unless they were buying the loose stock up on the cheap.
