Huge potential for EV Charger sales28 Feb 2020 21:20
"initial capital investment of £5,100 to £10,500 per kW"

So let's do some calculations based on that!
10 x 160kW units sold in 2020 (as several clients were asking for the bigger unit, hence AFC has brought forward it's build and release date). Let's say these are the more expensive at £10,500 per kW.
That is £16,800,000 in sales.
Suppose a 20% margin split 50/50 with MSP Technologies. That would give AFC £1.68m in profit.
So the question is, how many will they sell in 2020?
I personally am hoping for at least 100 sold in 2020, bearing in mind we've had so many enquiries we've had to increase staff numbers to deal with them all. If so, that would be sales of £168m and a profit of £16.8m to AFC, which easily covers the current operating costs plus expansion to cover all assembly and other operations.
No doubt everyone will have their own idea of what they expect sales levels to be this year, and that's fine, we can all work it out in our heads based on the above figures. Just remember that AB has advised:
"Since the launch of our H-PowerTM EV charger three months ago, we’ve seen over 500 people visit the operation of the charger, in addition to the significant number of commercial enquiries received through phone calls and email from the UK and overseas."
"At the time of writing this review, I'm pleased to say we succeeded in demonstrating our first 20kW fuel cell system and we are completing a national roadshow of the system to several hundreds of prospective customers and partners."
And to add to the above we should also have sales into the generator market (existing and new).
