RE: opinion on contract news25 Feb 2020 09:04
My post below from Monday. I'd say I was definitely on the money with "may have just wanted to see the beast in the flesh before signing on the dotted line." bearing in mind the CEO Blog post today states "Several prospective customers travelled to Scotland especially to meet AFC Energy and witness the operation of our EV charger in real time.".
AFC have a huge number of sales leads, but will be focussing on getting the easiest (say one small charger for a small fleet, where it only needs MD sign off) signed off ASAP, to get the workload down.
So for me, a sale could be signed off any day now.

Except that some customers were lining up for the EV Charger over a year ago, that's the reason AFC designed and built it. Those customers would have been kept appraised of the situation at every step, and may have just wanted to see the beast in the flesh before signing on the dotted line.
Also, some smaller fleet owners will have far less paperwork and no accounting hoops to jump through, with basically just the MD or CEO empowered to sign off a deal at very short notice.
And you have those like Welcome Break and Roadchef crying out for this solution
