Then, don't be one of the billions of hypocrites in the World:

1) Don't big up AFC as a solution to climate change if you are doing naff all yourself to cut your own carbon footprint and helping others to do the same
2) Don't blame politicians if you are doing naff all yourself to reduce CO2 emissions caused by you
3) Don't blame big oil if you are still driving a combustion vehicle, burning more oil and adding more CO2 every day to Climate Change
4) Don't blame China, India, the USA or anywhere else as 'high emitters' and use it as an excuse to do nothing yourself, because all emissions are responsible for the damage, every gram of CO2 you create adds to the problem

For those young enough to still be alive in 2030, 2040, 2050, or longer, you stand to make a lot of money from AFC and other clean energy or renewables companies over that time, as the World switches from oil to these products. That money wont be much consolation to you if you see the World rapidly degrading, species going extinct faster than ever before, the food chain collapsing, mass migration of climate refugees from hot regions into your countries, the worst weather you have ever experienced, etc, etc.

For sure there should at least be a trading update this week, which would cover a lot of developments, but it may not come tomorrow, as AB has been away at Extreme E so may need a couple of days to get the RNS finalised.

In that RNS hopefully:
FC systems delivery to Acciona and Juelich.
Full scale S Series FC prototypes built and being shipped to industry partners for testing.
Update on sales pipeline (was 'more than 50 discrete, qualified deployment enquiries' on 23 June, so should be more by now)
Update on Alkamem development and testing for other uses

Very true, And the more that Hydrogen / Ammonia is used, the faster it will proliferate through all types of end uses, and the more likely that businesses will have a look at AFC Fuel Cells as a solution for those end uses.

The next 10 years could finally be Hydrogen boom (not literally LOL!) time.

With reference to the following excerpt from the Platts S&P article:

"The ammonia still has to be cracked on site by a small 'cracker' unit, but Bond said: "watch this space, maybe we'll be able to get rid of that at some point."

I do not believe he is talking about an AFC cracker here, because he says of the cracker "maybe we'll be able to get rid of that at some point" which means regardless of whether it's purchased or an in house product, they will no longer need it.

This leads me to believe AFC are working on a Direct Ammonia Anion Exchange Fuel Cell, utilising Alkamem, which is an Anion Exchange Membrane.

I would not be surprised to see one of these customers is Gridserve, as they are the main UK company developing EV Charging Hubs, and they need multi-Megawatt power supplies, which will not be possible in all places where they would like to build these hubs.

Another one is Ionity, which is currently upgrading it's EV Charging Hubs with 350kW Chargers, but to enable the full capacity output of the site, upgrades to the grid will need to happen.

Another option is Ammonia combustion.

Either way, there are some instances where Fuel Cells or Batteries are not the best option, and despite that there are massive markets for Fuel Cells and Batteries.

If a company is going to use Hydrogen and/or Ammonia in combustion engines, then that will only be the part of their business that it is suitable for. The companies using these products will need to massively bulk order Hydrogen/Ammonia to be stored on site. This then opens up the market for on-site Fuel Cells that also use the Hydrogen/Ammonia for other end uses, such as power, charging company EV cars/vans/lorries, utility vehicles, and smaller versions of the ones that need to combust the Hydrogen/Ammonia.

JCB going to Hydrogen / Ammonia combustion is not a bad thing for AFC.

Any client can say to AFC "Send us the contract when you have it ready, we will have our legal team check it and once checked we will prepare ourselves to sign it ….. during COP26, for maximum exposure to the news channels"

AFC are not forced to announce that by listing or any other regulations, in fact they are forced not to announce it in case the client gets P'd off and doesn't sign the contract after all.

I said it was a waste of time earlier in the year too. I'd rather see the BB filled with useful research (like that posted by Klunk today) than 200 posts of guesstimate share prices that swamp the BB and push all the research way back where nobody is going to go back and look for it. That is the same reason the shorters and traders post BS so many times every day when they want the price down, to fill the BB with pointless posts and hope nobody scrolls back 10 pages to find the useful posts.

Excellent find!

For sure there is scope for AFC or ABB EV Chargers in this, based on the below snippets, and that Acciona have their own Extreme E team, which is quite possibly where the idea came from to move into 100% renewable EV Charging.

My guess is they would go with the integrated chargers from ABB, as they know ABB very well from Extreme E, and this is the kind of agreement that could be announced during COP26, as part of a launch of the ABB EV Charger.

AFC's success is not nailed on, no company has that, because at any point in time they could be hit by a surprise that wrecks the plan, however, with ABB, Acciona, Juelich, Extreme E, De Nora, Altaaqa, over 50 qualified sales leads, S Series 'holy grail of alkaline fuel cells' due any day, plus several other products coming along, my assessment is that AFC's success in >99% nailed on.
