You only need do around 7000 miles in an EV in the UK before you start reducing your carbon emissions, and immediately you also stop producing health and climate damaging particulates, health damaging NOx, and loads of toxins of which several are carcinogens (cancer causing). You also stop all of the emissions from producing and converting oil into the fuel you use.

PLUG are there for Hydrogen production.

The same markets apply in Spain as they do elsewhere, regardless of the client.

PLUG provide different solutions to AFC such as Green Hydrogen generation, fuel cells for fork lifts and other warehouse equipment, vans, trucks, busses and coaches, backup power. AFC offer solutions in many other end uses.

There is a small amount of cross over, but not enough to make it a competition with Acciona, both AFC and PLUG can co-exist as suppliers to Acciona.

The spreadsheet from the FCA shows no short position on AFC as of the close yesterday. We can see in the history tab the position declared on 11, and declared on 12, but no position has been declared for 13th or 14th. From the rules and stocks listed in the spreadsheet, the FCA only list those that are shorted 0.5% or above, or have reduced from a previous declaration to below 0.5%.

The FCA clearly deem below 0.5% as immaterial as far as shorting goes. So Bronte on their own are not really worth worrying about (it's barely 1 days trading, insignificant), just monitor the spreadsheet to see if any new declarations are made.

I also think that Extreme E will take an HFC system. AFC have posted a picture of the stack and announced prototypes were built 'on time' last year, with commercial systems 'available for deployment in Q1 2022". They could possibly have built a prototype one as an off-grid generator and have it on the St Helena before it sails. If not, they could have one shipped to the second race.

Extreme E use Hydrogen from Solar for now, so they do not need Ammonia or Methanol yet, thus a Hydrogen HFC makes sense right now.

In the future they could switch to Green Methanol or Green Ammonia. This along with HFC or S Series would have worthwhile benefits:

Ditch the solar (space saving, transportation saving, CO2 of transport reduction)
Replace the big tank of water for Electrolysis with a tank of Ammonia or Methanol (nil impact)
Power can be generated instantly, so no need to be on site weeks ahead to get the Solar panels out (saves a lot of time and thus money)
Fuel Cell system will be smaller than the L Series (space saving, transportation saving, CO2 of transport reduction)

My money is on the 175k being a buy as well, if you look at the 5 trades before it. No way did the MM's walk the price up to then pay out more on a 175k sell.

Spread is really tight so its easy to make buys look like sells and keep the price trading in a tight range.

Maybe it's that they see those companies at £1bn+ MCap that are still loss making as over valued, whereas AFC at £317m looks fair (or very cheap to me)?

The entire tech market drop was based on the high valuations of loss making companies.

I hope the lose a load of money, not that they will learn anything from it.

AFC have shown time and time again that when it's quiet it's for a reason, and usually an RNS pops up out of the blue, showing why they were so quiet.

We are still waiting on the sales that AFC 'expected' (not 'promised' which the idiots on here keep saying). Each sale is actually a project in the business world these days, and projects can often over run timelines, sometimes by a small amount, sometimes longer, so with at least 50 of these running in parallel even the biggest doubter would have to agree that 'some' will only over run by a short amount of time, which means those sales could appear any day now. Factor in the "available for deployment in Q1" plus "available on lease" HFC sales and an RNS could definitely drop any day. Such RNS could be big enough to blow Bronte away, as sales are all that's been holding AFC back from rerating closer to CWR, ITM, etc.
