Yeah, I was thinking that too. It will use bottled Hydrogen initially, but they can buy 99.9% Hydrogen anywhere, which is cheaper than 99.999% required for PEM. As per the economics purveyed by AFC, off grid costs are much higher, especially with the Red Diesel ban coming in, and Hydrogen at 99.9% purity will be attractive in that situation.
ABB clearly have a lot of clients wanting an S Series compact sized system, hence they would not have forked out £4m to get it here sooner. The HFC can give the ABB clients a compact system soon, and as it'll be on lease, they can easily do a seamless transition to the S Series early next year.
