I told them in no uncertain terms that they need to clean up their discussion boards, because there are people posting misinformation and lies about listed companies multiple times per day, as attempted market manipulation. I told them to read this specific board as an example, to see the large number of con men on here trying to distort the picture and value of this company. I told them that most had moved from here to a private Telegram group to get away from the con men and their attempted market abuse on here. I told them that this move to Telegram groups was spreading across their site as more and more companies are attacked, and it's about time they took serious action to deal with it.
You can say what you think if you take the time to complete the survey. The more feedback they get, the more chance there is of them fixing these discussion boards.

MoneySponge is a SERIAL BASHER ON:
AFC - 48 BASHING POSTS in 30 days!
BOO - 30 BASHING POSTS in 30 days!
MoneySponge is a SERIAL RAMPER ON:
WBI - 63 RAMPING POSTS in 30 days
You can read all his BASHING or RAMPING garbage on:

Accusing me of ramping is HILARIOUS!! Nearly as HILARIOUS as his RIDICULOUS plucked from the air misinformation valuation for AFC!!
Attacking me, with my FACTS and REASONED DISCUSSION just adds to his COMPLETE LACK OF CREDIBILITY.

That will cause a huge surge in Lithium demand, as EV growth will be much faster than the market has forecast.
If the reporting is correct and that news appears on Wednesday, Lithium stocks will go crazy for a few days/weeks I suspect, and the phone at ALL HQ will be getting red hot with companies trying to secure supplies.
ABB will be loving this!
"EPA reportedly planning to announce significant limits on tailpipe emissions to boost electric vehicle adoption"
PUBLISHED SAT, APR 8
KEY POINTS
The Environmental Protection Agency is reportedly preparing to announce significant limits on tailpipe emissions this week.
The new limits would require as much as 67% of new vehicles sold in the U.S. by 2032 to be all-electric cars.
EPA Administrator Michael Regan is expected to make the announcement in Detroit on Wednesday.
The proposed limits would be the U.S.' most aggressive climate regulations to date, and they would create a host of challenges for automakers.
Under the proposed limits, electric cars will represent between 54% and 60% of new cars sold in the U.S. by 2030, and between 64% to 67% of new cars by 2032, the Times report said. These figures are ambitious, as just 5.8% of cars sold in 2022 were electric, up from 3.2% in 2021, according to a report by Cox Automotive.
These limits would also surpass President Joe Biden’s previous goal to have all-electric cars make up around 50% of cars sold by 2030.

swest,
It's logical that the Passive Seismic will find a load more under the surface across the licence, as what's been drilled so far is only what is exposed at the surface and easy to spot by walking around. The fact that what they can see is so prolific suggests a load more under the surface where it can't be seen, so 70MT could actually be very conservative.
BB3,
Just imagine if my suspicions about testing the S+ Series at IAV are correct, imagine it is VW that wanted to see the results to then agree to take Fuel Cell EV chargers from ABB across their many brands charging networks. Imagine what the AFC share price would be. I don't think the broker notes are even close to that if it happened.
Hadn't finished that!
Better than 99.999999% purity (one in a million).
They would be better off using AFC technology by far, as it doesn't need the purity so doesn't need the expensive filtering and is thus a much lower cost system, which AFC Energy already has.
Just ONE part per million of Ammonia in a Hydrogen stream rapidly kills PEM. It can apparently be reversed by running the Fuel Cell on pure (expensive) Hydrogen for a few days, but that is just with a minuscule amount of Ammonia damage. More than that and who knows, it might be kaput or need weeks to recover.
http://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2006JPS...154..343H/abstract
So companies trying to crack Ammonia and feed PEM are going to have to use really expensive filtering technology to get the Hydrogen stream 99.9999999
No problem. I was just answering the question:
"Haggis - that doesn’t clear up the question of longevity or whose fuel cell it refers to."
I thought my reply cleared up the question of longevity as far as AFC is concerned, and that it wouldn't even matter if it was AFC's being referred to.
If another company thinks they have fuel cells that last 4 years on unfiltered Ammonia, it would be interesting to see who that was, as I've not seen anyone else claiming to be able to use unfiltered Ammonia.
Heath,
I would expect AFC to swap cartridges in 4 or 5 years whether on Ammonia or not, to keep systems at full power for the client, and to take in any upgrade to the membrane, electrodes or catalyst, that's the whole point of designing a cartridge based system, then recycling the cartridges and Catalyst, and the low cost TCO is based on doing that.
No way is it AFC's Fuel Cells being referred to anyway, as AFC have not announced the longevity of stacks anywhere, and probably never will, because the "low cost" includes swapping cartridges out to maintain nameplate capacity, it's always been so.
The system lasts a decade or two. The cartridges last 4-5 years.
PEM would be poisoned to death by the smallest trace of Ammonia in about 2 weeks.
Here's the link. As per the reply from someone else, AFC

The crook knows the below full well, which I have posted on here multiple times, but keep it in my reference file for occasions just like this.
This is what it says in the 2019 and 2020 annual reports:
"AFC Energy’s patented Alkaline Fuel Cell affords the flexibility of using low grade hydrogen streams (in some cases measured as low as 75% when cracking ammonia) with the opportunity to displace precious metals either entirely or to a greater extent than alternative low temperature fuel cells in the market today."
"LOM revenues exceeding US$4.84bn"
"Key assumptions: Long-term average SC6 price of US$1,359/t FOB over 12.5 years"
Current SC6 price $3,920/t
$4.84Bn / $1,359 X $3,920 = $13.96Bn LOM revenues at todays SC6 price
Hopefully an RNS this coming week to say the QED team is there or on the way there to do their dry dock work.
Silures,
£36m???
AFC already got £60m (ALMOST DOUBLE THAT £36m) to invest and is a third of the way through it, with still around two years worth of cash remaining.
AFC has the Air Cooled Power Tower for up to ~100kW
AFC has the liquid cooled S+ Series for ~100kW to Megawatts
Both S and S+ are modular systems that can be made to fit clients requirements
AFC also has the Methanol Tower for fuelling the S Series
AFC also has an Ammonia Cracker for fuelling the S+ Series and that will be scaled up to modules that can be combined to process millions of tonnes of Ammonia as stand alone systems
AFC has big clients such as ABB, Acciona, Mace, Keltbray, Kier, Taylor Woodrow, Colas Rail, Juelich etc
AFC does not need another £36m or any other investment, Geopura is the one that needed it.
Brixton,
Less oil available = higher prices.
Less Brent available = higher Brent prices.
So I'd say positive for us.

Tsunami' of industrial action to hit North Sea oil and gas industry
A 'tsunami' of industrial action is to hit the oil and gas industry as 1350 offshore workers are predicted to bring dozens of platforms to a ‘standstill’ in the biggest offshore stoppage in a generation.
Workers will commence 48-hour strike action to demand a better deal on jobs, pay and conditions on April 26, with companies including BP, Shell and Total assets affected.
