RE: 3D13 Apr 2022 19:14
It's quite possible that the CH-1 area has been scanned first and will be analysed ASAP so that the target date can still be met, which avoids any potential delays that may occur when scanning the wider area (such as equipment failure, vehicle breakdown, technical issues, etc).
I've read that 3D Seismic can take 6 months to fully analyse for an area the full size of what they are scanning in total, so it certainly would make sense to do just the CH-1 area first and get that analysed ASAP. As cperkin says, this was in the original plan. I doubt they would change that plan to slow things down, it's more likely if at all possible that they would make changes to the plan to speed things up.
I'm thinking the first 2-3 weeks of scanning done just over CH-1, then 4 to 6 weeks analysis, meaning results of Seismic survey (based on the below) for the CH-1 well could arrive anything from April month end onwards.
This news item is now a month old (date appears to be 11 March) and they were flying along "in high gear" at the time, this shows real urgency by APT. Suppose they started scanning CH-1 about 2 weeks after these photos, that would be around 25 March, coming up to 3 weeks ago now.
