I have sent QFI a couple of interesting research papers over the past 6 months. One covered fermenting starch to produce Glycerol. This could be useful because global production was around 120 Million Tons in 2020 and is expected to be 160m tonnes in 2026. This could potentially offer a faster near term mass production of Glycerol, at low cost.

And as I posted a few weeks back, we can see ABB are promoting AFC Fuel Cells to it's Data Centre clients already, before the 200kW system is even available, such is their confidence in AFC and it's technology.

The appeal of fuel cells lies in their potential to provide local backup power and even inject power into the grid during peak demand periods. Fuel cell technology combines materials and chemical science with automation, and protection and control systems, therefore its application requires specialist knowledge from each field.

Fuel cells can be integrated into power systems, for instance deploying 200kW installations to power electric vehicle charging stations where grid power is unavailable. Furthermore, fuel cells provide emergency backup in microgrids and power for telecoms sites at other remote locations.

However, for data centers, further investigation needs to take place at the multi-megawatt level. I am of the opinion that AEX will rerate just on the 3D Seismic results, on the basis that it is much higher density and accuracy, and targeting deeper gas/oil traps which I don't see as currently factored into the reserves.

Moving towards the spudding I see a lot of money flowing into AEX stock, which means a further rerate.

Some on here I think are far too conservative with their estimates of how quickly the share price could rise. 6p is still only a tiny MCap of less than £100m, but it's 3x the current price....

That certainly explains the drop back far better that the reasons posted yesterday about the results. Permian have to balance their funds at some point, if they get a profit at the same time then good luck to them. I'll hold on for the bigger upside after the Q1 update reassures the market.

JM did mention Biofuels, which we know have been tested by some shipping companies, including Maersk. But Biofuel is more expensive, so add water and Glycerine and it becomes more viable I guess.

He also mentioned existing fuels, which can only be VLSFO or MGO, as there wouldn't be any point with HFO as we would just create MSAR/BioMSAR with the residue instead.

My take on that was take VLSFO or MGO and make an emulsion from them using water and Glycerine, gaining the higher efficiency and reduced emissions, reduced CO2 especially.

Must be something on a filtered user, as I've not seen $20 mentioned before this post.

Absolutely Ogggs does care about Plug Power, it's just that massive chip on his shoulder means he MUST talk down all my posts, no matter how relevant they are.

PLUG also has sales, big sales, but AFC outperformed them because they are burning $35m a QUARTER, and AFC is burning far less. The market is focussed on loss making companies, regardless of what the money was spent on (operations, sales, acquisitions, expansion, etc).

So chip on shoulder tw @ having no interest in PLUG just shows he is not a very clever investor, because he ignores information that's pertinent to AFC's performance.

The point, chip on shoulder tw @ is that all the con men try to make out the drop has only been AFC, that it must have something to do with AB, sales, product, etc, when the FACT is, the whole market has dropped in unison, and the FC/H2 sector has done the same, so you can try to pooh pooh it with your usual chip on shoulder dismissal of ALL my posts, but the FACT remains, PLUG is a perfect example that the drop has NOTHING to do with AFC, AB, sales, etc.

PLUG down pre open today, 7.5%.

Out of interest, AFC has performed better since the peak than PLUG has, who'd have thought!!!

The information this week certainly validates what I said when I bought last Friday, contrary to some people that were claiming Morocco was history and 'why would MSC take so long to sign if they actually wanted the fuel', etc.

"To me it is pretty clear that MSC really want our fuel, especially BioMSAR. I also think Morocco would have bailed out or been dropped by QFI by now if they weren't also 100% committed to getting MSAR. (JM has mentioned many times not taking up projects where the client might not be showing they are fully committed to MASR)."

Also we have started ordering long lead items for the MSC LONO trial, which tells us the sign off is just a formality.
