Bashing AEX makes no sense whatsoever from a shorting perspective, as AEX has very limited downside, with the placing done at 0.75p, so then we have to look at why else would anyone bash AEX.

1) Because they work for a broker/MM and want to pick up the placing stock as cheap as possible, pushing the holders to get frustrated with the price not rising in the near term, so selling out close to the placing price. Basically squeezing out the overhang.

2) Because they are actually very bullish about AEX but don't want the price to go up, they just want to continue accumulating the stock as and when they have funds free to buy more.

As they say, it's not rocket science, and it certainly isn't rocket science to work out what these con men are up to.

Things could sure start getting interesting as we head towards 3D Seismic results and then drilling.

Who remembers that the oil is believed to have moved up-dip, from the basin to onshore? Who remembers we chased this oil at Likonde and had oil shows, and looked again for it further up-dip at Ntorya where we also had oil shows? And now we are drilling even further up-dip at Chikumbi.

Many TCF's of Gas will be great, but the oil had to go somewhere, and wherever it is there could be a lot of it....

And, we haven't even tested the Jurassic yet.... Chikumbi drilling will be doing that.

Re 3D already completed. These images are from 3 months ago. As you say, they must have completed the first phase of the survey. With the new lines that just appeared, I would say they are onto the second phase of the survey, having collected the nodes and now repositioning them. Meanwhile the data from the first phase is already being analysed. Data from subsequent phases is then added to the geology model built from the first phase. Anything significant discovered in the first phase could be worthy of an RNS.

So it looks like an announcement could come Thursday or Friday, with global coverage at the weekend.

As I said on Monday "Here come the con men again, seems they all joined at the rectum!!" and today we can see they are all back after waiting for it to go up, and now they are back to try and push it back down again for their current short positions (or just sold out) to pay off before buying back in. Rinse and repeat.

Check their posting history on here. Where was garmoan, dw etc when it was going up?? Sitting back not wanting to post anything negative that might affect their long trades, simple. If you haven't filtered them, it's well past the time you did, so do yourselves a favour and get them on your filter so you don't have to read their fake moans and baseless drivel any longer.

Meanwhile, as I said yesterday, the stock is showing a lot of support, and today's share price movement (look at the intraday chart!) shows that the support has continued, whilst the con men get even more desperate to try and talk it down.

I now see two Seismic Survey lines, one either side of the NT-3 Well Pad! There's also some new grid lines which appeared very rapidly recently, to the bottom left of the existing lines that were there a few months ago.

Check the history of the lines using the calendar at the top of the page. The Satellite passes the area every 5 days, as can be seen by the highlighted dates.

Here's hoping for something big in the Jurassic to blow the cobwebs and naysayers away.

But they are not ridiculous numbers, they are based on the resource being proven by the Chikumbi drill to be "recoverable reserve of up to three trillion cubic feet of gas as forecast". To me that is analysis and logical conclusion of the value, not random numbers plucked from the air.

As for what the SP is right now, that has nothing to do with the future valuation, the only relevance of todays share price is how cheaply you can load up at before it takes off, whenever that is.

Only 1 pencilled in for now. Possible update to 2 once the 3D Seismic is processed.

Exactly. People who wait for drill results or production will pay a lot more for the stock.

Nobody (including Phoenix) said it would happen overnight, did they?

As many have said, there are a few catalysts that will see the price rise, not just production:

1) 3D Seismic results and potential resource upgrade (soon)
2) Spudding Chikumbi
3) Drilling Chikumbi
4) Results of drilling Chikumbi
5) Results of testing Chikumbi (presuming gas/oil is hit)

The resource according to AEX:

Ntorya development area:
•Channel + discovery mean GIIP 823 BCF*
•Ruvuma PSA (excluding Ntorya ): Mean GIIP 4.2 TCF**

1) This is based on expert analysis, they are not number plucked from the air
2) These numbers were not conjured up by the Phoenix analyst, they are Aminex's own figures
3) AEX would not be drilling it if they had the level of doubt that you suggest exists over it
4) APT would not have farmed in and be spending $140m on the development if they had the level of doubt that you suggest exists over it, therefore the chances of success must actually be considered very high

I have been here for over a decade, have many millions of shares including the 1.4m I bought this year. I have no interest in ramping for short term gain, as I am and have always been here for the big money once AEX has a developed field producing a lot of gas, as that is where the maximum upside is, whether that be 10p, 30p or £1, it will be what it will be when AEX is in that position.

The clueless numpty that has appeared is just here to bash the stock IMVHO. It is probably the same numpty that has been bashing AEX with baseless drivel on the ADVFN boards for years whilst ramping the stock he switched out of AEX into.
