Dar es Salaam. The government has said in the next financial year 2022/23 it will increase it will stimulate natural gas exploration activities in 70 percent of the area that is yet to be explored the resource.

The statement was issued on June 11, in Dodoma by the Minister of Energy, Januari Makamba during the signing of a preliminary agreement in the Holding Agreement (HGA), between the Government and Shell and Equinor Companies.

What has been signed are some of the elements that form the basis for HGA preparations that are still in progress to provide direction for the implementation of the Natural Gas Processing Project (LNG).

I'm also anticipating an update on progress with building the 100kW S Series. Based on the timeline for delivery by year end, they must have done a considerable amount of work on it by mid year, and thus should update us.

From the 2021 final results RNS:

"The S Series platform is being accelerated through the ABB sale agreement, across each of the "air cooled" and "liquid cooled" platforms with early delivery of a 100kW liquid cooled system, and a 200kW liquid cooled system deployment, integrated with an ammonia cracker. It is this product platform which will form the basis of all larger scale, high power dense systems expected to be delivered across the S Series where ammonia or methanol are considered the low-cost hydrogen carriers of choice, including both data centres and maritime."

And from December 2021:

“S” Series development – utilising AEM (Anion Exchange Membrane) technology – continues apace, with the first prototype stack recently completed. Semi-automated manufacturing equipment has been commissioned and stack deliveries to ABB are expected in late 2022 (a 100kW system) and early 2023 (giving them 200kW system with integrated ammonia cracker)."

I look at it this way:
MSAR = transition fuel to BioMSAR
BioMSAR = transition fuel to Hydrogen/Ammonia/Methanol/LNG

QFI say there is enough Glycerine to cover current plans, so no issues there.

Looking past the current plans, using MSAR allows MSC (etc) to prepare vessels for BioMSAR, whilst gaining a smaller reduction in CO2 footprint (through higher efficiency) and lower NOx and particulates.

QFI do have plans for large scale Glycerine production using Algae. I also sent them a research paper detailing Glycerine production from Starch using bacteria. Starch is a massive existing product market, it's easy to get hold of loads of starch and it's cheap because of the huge economies of scale. The process also produces a valuable by product too.

Huge scale is never going to happen overnight. But with QFI's current plan, enough vessels can be converted to BioMSAR and MSAR to make our shares worth a lot more money, so I wouldn't be complaining that QFI is not doing 100% of the vessels out there, we do not need that, we just need a nice chunk of it.

They did say "after the 9th" so I guess it is just a case of getting all the signatories lined up to be there together on the same date and time, which is going to be tricky with so many parties involved, so wouldn't worry about a few days here or there or even a week or two. As you say, it's a 5 year project, so a delay of even a couple of weeks is small beans, so long as it gets signed off all is good for Tanz.

I really did wonder about that 1 trade when I saw it earlier. Having got home and checked it, I see it is a UT trade, which just seems ludicrous, just 1 share traded in an auction? WTF is that all about? Why would they go into auction over ONE share?????

I know in the really old days a trade of 1 share is supposed to be a signal for an RNS lodged, I guess we'll see if that explains it at 7am Monday!

Tanzanian delays seem to have evaporated with the new leader and APT running things, hell, even we got paid the money we were owed just days after they agreed to pay it, which happened soon after the new leader of Tanzania got onto the case of the Gas sector. Now she is getting $30Bn of LNG plant signed of as well. I think delays are now confined to history.

Looking at the revenues to AEX from gas sales, I'm with the few that think 10p by the time we get to the days before drill results. So over 10x from here in the short term, then it'll depend on what the drill finds.

ITM really getting battered for todays results, dragged us and the others down too, but at least not that far in a day.

We are not comparing peer valuations here, we are simply comparing how far and fast an O&G company share price can rise with Seismic and drilling news, and when those rises happen, it has nothing to do with company value.

If the CHAR share price wen up 10x then it went up 10x, it makes no difference how many shares they have in issue, their MCap went up 10x, again makes no difference how many share they have in issue!

Ah you're right! Forgot about that, was looking for it to be the same time as last year, but last year the results were delayed!

Ah well, last year we got a Ruvuma update on 30June 2021, so there's still potential for the same to appear this year at the same time. And the chart still looks good for a rise to 1.2p.

Also, check the chart for the past year, as it looks to me that we are due another rise back to the upper trend line right now, mirroring previous waves in the trend. If that does prevail, it would be 1.2p at the time of the results at end of June.
