RE: Extreme E7 Jul 2022 14:47
AFC's deal with Extreme E was based on some kind of shared marketing/advertising agreement. So Extreme E would give TV coverage to the AFC system, show the system to all it's high profile visitors, etc, whilst AFC would promote Extreme E in it's PR, interviews etc.
AFC must see there is some big benefit in having their branding overwritten by the NEOM/ENOWA branding. You don't have your branding hidden and get nothing for it. So something has definitely been agreed between AFC+NEOM/ENOWA that is deemed significant enough to see AFC give up it's branding advantage in front of all of the Extreme E viewers, high profile visitors, etc.
Something along the lines of "MOA - AFC and ENOWA will work together to build a portfolio of opportunities to use AFC's Fuel Cells at NEOM" would be nice. A few more days of racing to go yet, plenty of time to sign off something like that whilst the event is running.
