This is just great, I keep thinking we are in a crash already but a slow and steady one. The only way is up from here............I am expecting divi cut by 40% - 50%, cost cutting and investment in IoT and SVOD. 143p surely can’t be yielding close to 14p yearly.

You are not 140k down but you might be if you want to sell today. Your shares are worth what you paid for them back then but nobody is willing to buy now but MMs are willing to buy at 143p. Poker likes to complicate things.....SETS is all crap. Demand / Supply.........basic economics mate. There was a crazy demand for SKY shares so the MMs kept buying at higher prices. Divi cut, 5G overspend, new ceo, slowdown in growth, Vod buying more cable assets when people are switching to SVODs. Sentiments are negative but 200p is a bargain for VOD.

I love VOD! This sell off must continue for another month..........

I don’t trade indices but one thing is sure, if Dow components don’t grow their divi then big investors will move into treasuries once the yield over 4%.

Market is about sentiment but supply / demand is key. Market makers decide the price to buy at open market and they sell it back quickly within seconds. Where do you think your order quotes come from.......MMs provide liquidity every second once market opens till it closes. Now if 1 million retail buyers jump in now and place 50k buy orders each at the same time, MMs will find a way to bump the price up so that they get more money.

Donald Trump has nothing to do with VOD plunging, stop this rubbish............MMs are simply not in the mood to buy shares at higher prices because there are no willing buyers. The market is simply a supply / demand, stop watching fake news mate. SKY got a mega offer in the middle of all this, Shire getting bought for a mega premium.......VOD would top 200p today if a huge buyer floods the market with huge buy orders up to 200p.

YES, BT can keep a 20% - 30% stake! The monopolistic approach of BT is killing innovation and good business practices. BT would learn to hustle hard once OR is not their ATM anymore.

Best time to buy a house is during the crash, best time to buy a solid stock is during a crash..........if you guys are not buying or happy that VOD is cheaper then you are gamblers who are super leveraged. I am using this low prices to improve my average. I am even happy with a 50% divi cut.......the biggest brewer in the world just cut its divi by half. 20% - 30% drop is the most from here!

I kid you not, the market makers are ready to flush out weak investors.

Haha......you are a joker, I told you to buy BT but you thought VOD was safer! You just like to frustrate yourself........told you.

..........and repeat! Got BT moving ever closer to my break even! Juicy divi taken already.........looking for 400p to sell BT while 220p would be ok for VOD!

BT dropped more than 50% from its high before this steady run, VOD is a great buy...........this is not AIM so don’t expect instant bounce as traditional income investors / pension funds are happy to buy for the juicy yield alone as they rarely sell. The only ones that need to be worried are those leveraged up. 5G, IoT and fast broadband will bring growth so just chill out.

Don’t even mention ENQ, day trading is hard these days as even safe / stable blue chip stocks are plunging. Just invest for income and stop trading if you don’t have any insider info.

Nick will hit the big reset button, VOD will slide lower but make a great recovery above 200p. Divi will be cut, cost cutting will be intensified while IoT / 5G will be the source of revenue growth.

Loads of leveraged buyers will be seeing red, VOD at 170p / 160p looked so cheap but here we are even cheaper.............the idea is to avoid leverage.

Barc looks undervalued but I’ve got no spare to jump in here. Barclays is a global bank brand and has been cutting branches and staff to evolve into a digital bank. Barclaycard is a great asset on its own that is not valued correctly on the balance sheet. Only problems are the fines, court cases and ppi
