Yeah, the Apple news is old. I know for sure that American hedgefund Greenlight capital recently bought into BT saying it is very cheap.
Apple JV TV rumour makes no sense .....................SKY and Disney must be better options for Apple.

MrD is a smart trader, he didn’t short VOD but very frustrated. He was in PMO longterm when it plunged to almost nothing. MrD is just thinking out loud whenever he thinks shorting would have been better.

I sold out of Lloyd’s because of car finance and credit card risks. Also people think banks would do well when rates go up.......rubbish. Defaults would creep up while lending will go down but who knows it could benefit the smartest banks. UK REITs, Telecoms, consumer staples and utilities look attractive.

I guess the earlier dip below 150p was to clear some few stops..........

Considering how much SKY went for, BT and VOD are very cheap! Now I know it is hard to bring averages down.......my BT is 267p while my VOD is 184p. The two shares can easily give me 30% return each or fall slightly as they have fallen already.

Why would he want to go through another takeover battle. His kids can setup a new bidco surely but not sure the murdochs fancy BT.

The focus of bad press must be on SSE and Npower now since British Gas has smaller market share now.

My main question to moaners is what else looks cheap and solid as VOD? I can see VOD back above 200p next year but timing is not guaranteed.

Why wait for 149.5p? Just buy now......BT is topping FTSE100.

Only if car makers had simple looking and reasonably priced cars...........mobile hydrogen refuelling could make FCEV cars more attractive. You can simply book a refil via an app........a slim truck is all that is needed and I know for sure grant money will cover the costs of delivery.

If market sentiment is negative and fresh buyers are not rushing to buy VOD then it is worth just 80p only (TNAV). We have to wait for market to want to buy VOD then they will pay 230p

I consider a lot of ftse100 companies very cheap at them moment. Too much focus on VOD.......start crying when we go below 120p

Itv made the right choice, is liberty happy about this? Debt can be reduced while iTV hub can be improved but we need an external team to work on iTV hub as the current guys running it are dumb. iTV hub has to focus on taking U.K ad revenues from FB and YouTube. iTV hub has to track data just like its competitors and be able to show any kind of adverts.

Just offload the pension scheme to LGEN or Aviva.

VOD is worth 91 euro cents per share minus goodwill. Everyone here must agree with me that VOD brand is worth at least another 91 euro cents.

Including divi..........8% up in total returns annually for the last ten years. Stop moaning guys........

That is still respectable if they cut the divi to focus on 5g, iOT and giga-fibre. I saw what happens with Glencore and Anglo.........if you don’t keep buying, you will lose out.
