True, our shares are not 100% real at purchase but the broker has guaranteed options / swaps in place. MMs also hedge almost instantly so they buy and sell simultaneously.

ITV is a great asset but can become even greater if sold to the Americans. We Brits only know how to run pubs and bet on horses.

Nice lift today, still a bargain........there is nothing like market maker fraud. They provide liquidity and need to make profit as well. The MMs are ready to buy and sell all day but the price is determined by the buyers and sellers.......MMs take the tiny spread between bid / offer price.

Takeover is on the horizon...........220p would be the first all cash offer before they accept 250p!

I once said just before the ex - divi @ 196p that this will go a lot lower as the yield is just too juicy for anyone to buy in and make easy 4.5%. I’m sorry that your portfolio is red but don’t stop buying as the MMs are doing a great job. Telecoms generally have been sidelined by the market as they like shaky tech. VOD is like a government bond, safe but don’t expect 100% rally...........best place to be since we are close to the end of the Bull cycle. Telecoms, utilities, financials, consumer staples, gold and cash are the place to be now.

Yeah, you should be happy because the market makers are giving you the opportunity to buy at a bargain. The have done the same with RMG today, Xmas has come super early...........consider VOD is on 30% discount.

VOD is ok, still looking to buy some more below 160p. I hope the new CEO doesn’t plunge us by 15% when he releases RNS.

The timing is odd, looks tike they were forced to release the update.

Itv can never be worth 600p, 300p would be nice but 400p is the holy grail.

SKY went for P/E of 36, we would be happy to settle for 25 which is 255p. That would represent just over 60% premium.

The market should tell du plessis who they want, they clearly hated GP!
