Why they screwed up a straightforward business in online shopping world is beyond me. The business should be about cost cutting and improving efficiency........still no word on the superhub.......superflop more likely.

Not sure GD can deliver us 70p a share by doing the same thing over and over again. Debt is not coming down fast, products are boring, dull or failures. Not sure PFD is developing a new and exciting brand that will get people's attention.

Let's hope they have good intentions for the company in general and not selfish agenda to get all their money back by systematically liquidating DX.

Dogscott, I just think 100% premium would be too much and trust me the offer price would be below 80p hence why PFD has been trading flat at 40p for a while. Some companies have to be taken over and PFD is so obvious as fat cats costs can be axed to prop up great brands that have been abandoned because of the fat cats salary / bonuses / LTIPs. I saw same thing happen with Home Retail Group, Poundland, Revolution bars..........all got bought at a bargain if you factor in huge cost savings.

Only means one thing, 40p would the average closing price that would be used for any takeover deal. 80p would be impossible to achieve but I will take 70p.

Yeah it does but DX just raised cash to pay off debt and balance sheet looked really good after float. See the former CEO and CFO are something else. Why did they pay those divi, waste money on superhub, dodgy acquisitions, OneDX...........why waste all that money. All DX had to do was cut cost, improve efficiency but it went on money wasting spree.

I want to make money too but the deal means DX would have paid all that £4.5 million back as rent by the end of the lease (in ten years). I hope they ramp this up so that I can sell up.

Reallyrich, The big guys never make things easy, just as the last board almost liquidated the company with useless plans. See Gatemore wants DX to pay off HSBC and that payment is due in November. After that, DX needs new financing which Gatemore has said it will roll that £2 million over to and get that 10% annual interest. Smart move as they could increase the amount and get even more than 10% interest. Why should HSBC get the interest when Gatemore can make 10% since the SP has been losing value. The logic is simple and fair from investor loan point but our MCAP is so low that we could be taken over cheaply if engineered perfectly.

Rights issue at this price makes no sense but you can't rule anything out these days. I think a share consolidation is needed before any rights issue. I am so glad that I am not the only one who understands the RNS.

Reallyrich, Now think about the MCap and the loan......don't you think Gatemore can buy DX. very cheaply if it gets its way. 10% return guaranteed is better than just being a mere shareholder, power to sell tangible assets to who knows at probably discounted price? Gatemore needs to satisfy its own needs and recoup their losses and they would do that before thinking about us. The other institutional holders sell off market, private trades.......at what price, we don't know! Just like in PFD, Nissin privately bought at 63p per share but the share is stuck at 40p on the open market.

Reallyrich, I hate misleading or arguing but you need to read RNS fully before posting. Here is the bit you missed below. "The Gatemore loan has enabled the Company to pay down HSBC's term loan while retaining the freight hub in Willenhall. This gives the Company greater financial and operational flexibility, setting the stage for the refinancing. We expect to roll our loan shortly into the new financing, positioning DX with a healthy balance sheet and a new start under proven leadership"

This is just a taste of what's to come, we would be borrowing at 10% come the real refinancing. Gatemore should buy DX, take it private.

Please read RNS fully guys, the loan would be rolled over into the new re-financing. 10% return guaranteed. How much return did the shares produce? Private investors just don't get anything.

Gatemore runs the show now, 10% interest on £2 million is excessive and gives off vampire / vulture vibes about Gatemore. 4% - 6% interest rate is acceptable, now we have few freehold assets but renting at high cost! I hope gatemore is not linked to the buyer of the disposed properties. DX is being liquidated professionally.

Dodgy big guys are loading up at the expense of poor private investors..........Shame Gatemore didn't come up with a private equity deal to take this dog private.

Expattwo, How rude of you to call GD a mere Duke. He is a GOD in his own right. This guy doesn't answer to anybody, doesn't have to keep his word and when salvation came via takeover offer, he turned it down and lied about growth. Then came AGM, nobody could vote him out. This CEO is a GOD.

This winter could be the coldest in a decade, soups, noodles and custard should do well before our mince pies during xmas. Sandytroll must like this? or may be not.

DX share trading is a joke, how many people are actually selling out at this price. from 100p to 6p without involved in failed biotech trials or failed space exploration.
