(Reuters) - Shareholder Oasis Management has called for the immediate removal of Premier Foods (PFD.L) Chief Executive Gavin Darby, raising the pressure on the company ahead of its annual meeting next month.

Oasis, which said it has a 9.3 percent stake in Premier, said current CFO Alastair Murray should take interim charge, supported by the company’s UK Managing Director Alex Whitehouse. It urged the company to seek a new permanent chief executive from outside the company

This is even better, July 18 is way too long for dr evil to be in charge. He has been given so many chances and time to improve the company but he focused solely on excessive pay / bonuses and issuance of bonds at super high yield for his mates.

Any dumb person would do a better job than Darby, plain and simple thing to do is to put the company on the market. American, Japanese and european companies have too much cash and are looking for growth to support their sp. premier foods has the brands but needs slight upgrades, job cuts, cost cuts along with cheap refinancing......a defensive play like PFD shouldn’t have any bonds yielding more than 3%.

You rushed into LLOY thinking the tiny share buybacks would boost it over 80p.........sorry but I think CNA would hit 200p before LLOY tops 80p! CNA is a sweet takeover target play,regulators are backing off slowly as small time players are collapsing prematurely already. Utilities are about to get some market love, same happened with big supermarkets.

If I had £100million, I would spook the MMs by placing a huge buy order for 50 million shares at £2 each. That order would never get filled and the MMs would jack up the prices. The market is very inefficient and heavily manipulated by the greedy MMs. Considering the binge gaming and music / video streaming on mobiles, BT’s mobile asset has been hugely discounted. On the massive debt, I get it but people stay connected and use most of BT services even in the downturn so the company is safe but can boost SP by cutting costs further.

The chairman is über dumb to be squaring off with a big shareholder with 8% stake. The overpaid and useless directors have lost it, they are mere workers and should be judged by their results. The bastards are overpaid, overcompensated but still think they can have their job for life. No way, let somebody different make those free money, Darby ain’t that smart and any new ceo can’t do much worse. Darby is hiding something terrible, the reaction and response to the offer was very suspicious. They should have been so happy to attract a bid but the bastards knew they won’t have a job anymore. Greedy bastards with multiple directorships can’t let this sorry company be run properly.

Darby works for his friends in the city........bondholders, share manipulators and advisers. Darby should be sacked by the board, the chairman needs to be removed as well for backing a bastard that is bent on screwing shareholders. He chased McC away then slept with Nissin. I don’t care as long as he keeps the sp close to McC offer. He lied about growth, he should be sacked instantly and all those free juicy shares should be clawed back. FCA needs to investigate him as well.

BT is a joke, thanks to Ofcom and GP not paying attention to the damage that lady could cause. BT as a quad play, growth (ish) in TV and expanding fibre broadband should be trading around 700p if the general bubbly market sentiment applied to us. We are the unfortunate ones!

Itv can sell broadband and mobile if they want, it is very easy to do...........so are you saying Tesco is a telecoms company or a Fintech? Tesco offers financial services without having a branch, they offer mobile deals as well. If we get the right buyer, itv could be great......... the “iTV” brand name alone is appealing.

SmallT, We are hoping the M&A boom and hype in the media sector carries the sp back above 200p. The best scenario would be a bid by an American company. Comcast can buy us if the lose out on Sky, any other options in the U.K? tsco and sbry have done well this year, Tesco still has some work to do but can easily smash 300p and should be defensive unlike itv in case of another downturn.

Those are the key areas for growth in Europe for VOD. The gaming and streaming scene has exploded, data use has boomed but our SP hasn’t done much. Before iPhone / Apps / addictive games, data usage and broadband use was low and slow, why are telecoms so dumb to make more money and hype themselves? The answer is the more hype leads to new competition wanting a slice of the pie. I guess the telecoms sector just dulled themselves, pile on huge debt to make the sector unattractive.

Good stuff, now buy more shares and tell your work colleagues to top up too. Bezos can buy CNA with just a fraction of his wealth and still be the richest in the world. That is if he can sell £10 billion worth without causing panic but hey Americans are wild unlike negative country like the U.K.

Americans are on a different ball game, they buy and keep buying while allowing companies to grow. The U.K is so negative, conservative and almost cave man like. Itv needs to merge with another european company before it’s too late. They need to take back some ad cash from fake social media ASAP.

BT can use half of the divi money to lay more fibre, offer competitive deals as that would make ofcom calm down and be friendly once again. That divi lost would be gained via share price growth.

Divi could be cut to fund fibre roll out but it would be positive for growth and the share price.

That’s the spirit, damn these scared cows........the more a solid company’s share drops, the better for a solid investor. Buy some more or shut up. BHP, Bp, RIO, AAL, GLEN, HSBC, STAN, RMG are just a few who had downward move but bounced back. Keep buying, set your target price and relax........fair value for BT is 350p (50% upside).

I don’t think TW is down that much when you take the juicy divi & special divis for the last 3 years into consideration. I don’t like U.K builders as they are not embracing new tech / new style of building. My TP for VOD is 230p which is fair value.
