U.K housebuilders are not doing themselves any favour or investing in quality materials. The quality of materials and workmanship can be better by simplifying building process. My idea is simple, spend more money on quality materials while reducing cost on labour by keeping designs the same throughout. I don’t think first time buyers / movers care if they all buy same looking properties but well built with quality materials.

Nissin is milking PFD, getting paid for producing our noodles while using us to sell their own brands too. I thought Japanese companies don’t exploit smaller companies!

The telecoms sector is waiting for the great rotation, I have followed the market into different sectors......Banks, miners, supermarkets, house builders, industrials have all had their spanking before funds got in. Telecoms time is next........VOD, BT and solid Eurozone big telecoms are the top picks to return 20% at least within the next 12 months.

We don’t need any good numbers tomorrow, just a simple strategy to join forces with channel 4 & 5 and may be BBC to develop a paid streaming subscription service that would stream new shows first before they go to traditional TV. We only need a bluff and some hype.

GD and KH’s moles are not responding........hmm! Let me speak for them “the SP doesn’t matter as the company is positioned for growth over long term”. The CEO has personally cut the debt pile in half, cut a sweet deal with Nissin,broke bread with barons, city fat cats, ex supermarket execs, bondholders and pension holders. The SP is actually higher pre-McCormick offer so please have some respect for the highly “talented Mr Darby”.

You’re so right, you have to buy now before more good news and progress surface. Success is not guaranteed but VOD is a valuable global company to hold. AT&T might buy VOD if the SP stays at these levels for a long period.

I am looking for 200p by end of August. Switching my broadband to VOD as it is cheaper than virgin media. VOD is pushing hard into broadband at the right time when BT has been forced to play fair. 220p minimum by year end!

New bold strategy would force virgin media to buy us out.............

The analysts are waiting to downgrade the stock but GD must have told them to wait till after the AGM. This share is wanted below 40p by the big boys buying for Nissin. Nissin needs to bring its average down, Oasis can’t see any way out unless Batchelors is sold. For an active fund to be so desperate rings alar bells.

Dumbest CEO and chairman ever, SP doesn’t matter to them............below 40p soon or even low 30s soon! I don’t care anymore about SP too.

Tw is going down, smart money is moving into BDEV because of juicy divi / special divi on the way. Smart money will rotate back next year.

Forget about Netflix and amazon, itv needs to compete with Sky for now. Itv hub needs to copy nowtv while it’s free channels need to take more dodgy adverts (crypto / get rich quick schemes) like YouTube does.
