My analysis is that smart money would move into large value defensive stocks during the next crash. Bonds attracted most of the money during the last crash but QE has inflated bond prices.

The Verizon sale divi was massive too............matured companies pay divi because shareholders don’t want to sell their beloved shares to get returns. £5million invested here would yield quite a lot that you don’t need to check your screen.....just take divi and spend it till the next one comes! Better than 3 or 5 year fixed savings.

We needed to keep the momentum of that “bid” rumour or “hot M&A” sector but it seems nobody is actually interested.
I was going to sell up here after a higher move from 183p......greed got the better of me.

Lastcall is a joke, I said blue day and it is looking nice and blue. Spreadbetters and CFD guys like lastcall lose 95% every time on average anyway........losers. I know investing can be long, painful and frustrating but it ain’t gambling and we can always buy more with spare cash if the company’s prospects are bright / stable.

That was BT.A without EE and TV (sport). If you add those 2 plus fibre broadband then BT.A floor in a crash scenario must be at least 140p.

Cool, take a look at BT as well, U.K banks look cheap ATM. Supermarkets have moved already - looking expensive again. Got to be in divi paying large value / defensive right now.

ITV should downgrade their listing and move to AIM.......haha!
