RE: PORTLAND ENERGY LATEST: CEO Steve Sanderson discusses UKOG’s plans for hydrogen-ready energy storage31 May 2022 14:34
Ocelot - you're pickin the 'postive' bits and not addressing the glaring issues. So once again:
Hi Ocelot - yes he has and no doubt Hydrogen industry is going to be big. I like the sound of this project, there are huge issues though in terms of producing revenue and Catherine gave him a very easy ride:
- Over the horizon wind farm. Existing or future? Who's wind farm ? If future then development for that too
- "few details to be ironed out " - typical SS, light on detail
- Need planning for 14 tanks. Here we go !
- Once again he say "nationally significant" - the kid that cried wolf.
- Start construction - 4 years. IF IF IF IF. 4 YEARS!!!
-Fundraising.... here we go again.
Yara are big into green hydrogen and they're having huge issues. BP have a project on the go in North Spain, but it's going to take huge energy to produce green hydrogen from wind. And that's a major.
So - great idea, maybe good for short term sentiment and you can't blame them for trying. But please - get some O&G out soon. Brent is now USD 123 per barrel. No significant change in revenue or share price for UKOG.
