Ocelot - I have no idea if they will flow oil in Turkey I keep waiting for some kind, any kind of news but the surrounding area doesn't fill me with a great deal of hope. But I see you've not mentioned the UK - sad isn't it, there's really no hope, unless they put up a wind, solar farm or a swampy commune.

Ocelot you seem to continually miss the point when it comes to forward price projections. That is - to capitalise on the underlying price of a commodity you have to be producing it at significant volumes (and more than enough to cover costs).

UKOG is still not doing that and whilst i hope it does, in the meantime my 1million shares are worth next to nothing, so really it's a total waste of time talking about JPM forward POO or gas predictions.

CEO's don't say nothing just to be mysterious - they usually wish to keep shareholders in the loop, regularly updated of how the company is performing, where it's going etc etc. So for my money he has no good news whatsoever

real investors have been waiting for transformational news of national significance, we've been lead to believe 'the train is leaving the station' to the 'gatwick gusher'. That's what real investors have been waiting for, all the while watching shares being issued like confetti, the share price drop to levels where the next stop could actually be a de-listing. The CEO needs to appraise investors of the likely hood of success from this company and what time frame. More interestingly would be where he actually forecasts that coming from

Tony you're right and I agree but just take a look at what's happened to UK steel manufacture and the way that is clearly going. No one in government seems to care as long as we can get our natural resources from elsewhere they can claim we are 'green' or 'co2 neutral' or whatever they'd like to call it. Fact is all we've done is outsourced our Co2 footprint and put ourselves at the mercy of international trade. I wonder what they'll do when it comes to a c onflict situation and we need more tanks/planes and military hardware...'can we buy some steel from you please Mr Xi so we can defend ourselves against you'??

that's why I invested too. Mistakes have been made along the way, no doubt, bad ones. But the background has changed and anything 'new' especially onshore in the uk is, in my opinion, going to be very very hardpushed to get the go ahead now - which i completely disagree with but that doesn't change the facts.

rightly or wrongly - do you honestly think there will be any support from this country, this government or future governments for oil or gas extraction in UK really ? Offshore maybe. frankly the genie is out of the bottle here. Whether UKOG actually had any chance of success in the weald (before they messed up the BB drill, HH etc) - it isn't going to happen. We may get a better rate of extraction with a water injector, cleanup etc but it will not be a gusher, it will not be transformational for the country, it will not be of significant national importance and the train is stuck in the siding.

So - the future for oil or gas extraction needs to be overseas (that's ok for the UK population and this government - out of sign out of mind, outsourced Co2 production isn't a problem). So - TURKEY IS IT. Where is the news??

it's all down to the product a company produces and the revenue generation from that. The answers are there, pure and simple

Still very disturbing against a background of rising commodity prices, so maybe those out there hanging their hats on the current or forward prices may, just may realise you have to have proven reserves, production etc to see any advantage whatsoever.
