Why is he still employed? He has overseen a complete ****show here?
Great article and to the point

This is quite interesting?
"In addition, the parties have revised the SSPA such that, in the event that applicable regulatory approvals are obtained and the Transaction closes, ExxonMobil would share in a portion of the value that would otherwise accrue to Seplat Energy in the period between the effective economic date and the completion date of the Transaction. The exact amount will depend on a number of factors, including production by MPNU and oil price. Except as disclosed herein, there has been no significant change in terms of the announcement dated 25 February 2022, and the headline consideration, effective date and the contingent payment structure remain unchanged."
Why are they giving money back to exxon and why bother with the change if it is unlikely to close? Any thoughts?
It's about time this judge was called out. How they got away with an ex parte hearing is beyond me

Better than I was expecting too. Happy with that and still pumping out very strong ebitda. The divi is much appreciated also.
Hi moneyman to be honest I'm not surprised at this and I'm expecting some excellent further growth in downloads moving forward in q2 onwards.
In the full year results they announced c36m unique listeners in Feb 23 and average monthly downloads across Jan and Feb of 122.2m
In the q1 trading Update they announced 38.2m unique listeners in March 23. This is a big increase of c1.7m to c2.2m unique listeners in 1 month alone.
In addition they advise average q1 downloads of 125.2m. Based on the fact of 122.2 over Jan and Feb this must mean March 23 alone was c131.2m downloads.
Both of these indicate to me subscribers and listerns are going extremely well.
When the ad market turns back up this will fly. With the volumes too it must be on several competitors radars
Does anyone have any estimates on here of h1 sales / ebitda?
Wow. Really happy with those. Revenue up, profit up, cash up and bet debt significantly down. The best things though I think are production back on track and the increased dividend guidance for the year and declared for the quarter.
Seatank. You have been advocating this quarterly divi increase would happen so well done!
Is out in force again today. Wonder if its Bonnier paying for his legal issues
Not sure if many others listened to it.
Early signs the eCPM has bottomed out and an upward projection from here. Downloads continue to grow as do unique listeners. Multi renewals of existing and new podcasters really strengthens the business.
Cash down at year end mainly due to upfront payments to podcasters (to be recovered) and late payments from customers at year end. Over $3m recovered shortly after March 31st.
I think they are well set up for a recovery in the market. I also liked the initiatives they are taking to grow eCPM internally. Thought Stuart and Brad came across well as usual.
Thanks seatank just done
Hi seatank yes please. Gwillerz@gwillerz78
Thanks
According to apollo of 240p. I assume the subsequent drop in WG sp indicates no deal....
?
I guess the analysts will have their own view. Personally in a year of stagnating advertising spend and a slowdown on acquisitions I'm very happy with the ebitda margin improvements and sales.
In addition they appear to far more organised financially and operationally which hammered us in H1.
We have a market cap of $1.2b today and debt of $0.11b. If they deliver growth in a difficult market this year, improve margins etc I think that will be really positive.
In addition $180m + of ebitda puts us on a fwd ev/ebitda multiple of 7.3...
Very happy with that. Also the outlook in particular of like for like sales (10%ish) and ebitda margin (16%ish margin) for this year. Am I correct in thinking this advises £180m+ ebitda on sales of nearly £1.2b?
Thanks seatank. It is very emotional as you say. It's great he is being supported fully particularly by his own employees. It nearly brought a tear to my eye!
As you say, this farce certainly doesn't help to attract much needed investment into the country, or help to convince IOCs to stay.
Hopefully once the 7 days have ended we hear less about this and more about our acquisition of MPNU
Hi Seatank I've just read this. Really detailed rebuttal of all accusations and demonstrates really well how ridiculous the accusations are.

Looks like mo deal is starting to be priced in? Have the large shareholders said no? Can't be long to find out
Yes I'm surprised they didn't go higher to put pressure on our board. 237p is not going to do that. A lot of value here for Apollo if they want it but going in cheap will mean not getting off the starting block
