I'm considering asking Simon Tucker whether there was neither of a non refundable deposit before work and deliveries even began. And whether there were any penalty clauses in the contract to compensate the company in the event of the contract being interrupted.
The company seems to have been completely shafted here unless Simon does have something more than trust to base his belief that this is just a suspension / 'hiccup'.
The difficulties for a small company operation with foreign governments and agencies have been plain to see for SRT.

I liked the sound of PL's answers. Expansion and upgrading of income generating assets from turnover. This should grow the value and feed into sp. New drilling finds should be seen as a bonus rather than the reason to be here.

Loved his definition of politics...'poly ticks' many blood suckers! or something like that wrt taxes. Shame Argentina economy is holding the sp down.....I'm inclined to be patient have been here for many years.

Looks like the EMRA Profit Share payment is the most significant outgoing before dividend payments could be determined, up from (2016) 18.5M to (2017)111.6M and predicted to be (2018)120M.

Shame the media is so bad at informing itself. IQE is so much more than and indirect Apple supplier. Even their 3D VCSELS have application in car safety systems now appearing in new cars and all manner of other things in the internet of things. Still early days for IQE who have a wide portfolio of IP and earning products. Started buying IQE in 2010 at 37p on an industry user recommendation. Long term hold barring disaster.

We may have to resign ourselves to losing the parcel for a long time or for good. The Tanzanian government is mucking Acacia(ACA) about over its export consignments too. Its hard enough getting investment strategies right without being mucked about by dodgy govs.

Well TT that would be great. I guess the more national sized systems they get it increases their credibility and profile for adding new ones. I think ST also fancies creating long term income streams which give the company stability a make growth more certain. I've been here a long time and took some profits off their last run up to the 40's in 2010. Will stay here for long term though.

I still like this company for no BS from ST. I feel it will grow steadily rather than explode.

It all sounds controlled. But so did ACA and DCP before local factors intervened unilaterally to screw them. Confiscations, strikes, you name it. Might hang on in here for a bit longer.

See the rns this am. Reusing parts from IOsorb#3 to make a IOsorb #7 as a lower cost of production in a more productive site.

This should provide solid bread and butter income. Good for smoothing out income troughs.
