Well we has to see how the Govts roll out of Technical colleges works and if they expand it... So far what we know..

The new Construction Technical Excellence Colleges are:

Derby College Group, East Midlands

West Suffolk College, East of England

New City College, Greater London

City of Sunderland College, North East

Wigan and Leigh College, North West

North Kent College, South East

Exeter College, South West

Bedford College, cross-regional

Dudley College of Technology, West Midlands

Leeds College of Building, Yorkshire and the Humber

These colleges will operate on a ‘hub and spoke’ model.

Maybe penny has dropped you cannot build 1.5million houses without the trades.... Maybe as this one when the finish the houses here they can start rebuilding cities across the globe..

Wolff he talk about two key problems.

1) Resource curse. When Tory party thought spend the oil bonaza money on benefits the good idea as they didn't know what else to do...

2) Finance curse. There is a danger this might rear its head again.. Is good that banking stocks SP ticking up but if the financial sector is allowed to grow too big then it has the effect of artificially propping up the £ crippling other sectors in the economy.... Not only this happen here in the past but USA similar problems and Mr Trump he trying to reduce the value of the dollar to stimulate the broader economy.

Respect but the budget was poorly thought out and will cause a lot of problems. The main beneficiaries from what the paper they say seem to be Welfare class.

US "growth " is top loaded s are its markets. High earners keeping the economic wheels turning the same way a few big companies are keeping the market looking buoyant... But its risky. 3 million cars set to be re possessed and A1 taking its toll not on basic jobs but in middle sector.. The group that tends to load up on credit...Powell putting the brakes on QT.

Let see how this play out... and in the wings what the US do with Venezuela etc....
