My own thought with "currency" is that it must be easily traded and not subject to Govt control.. Ok we has the 1933 gold confiscation act Executive Order 6102 but that was only USA. China and other countries looking at hard assets like gold etc .. This is especially after seeing Russian assets frozen.. Where Stablecoin etc fit in. Well at moment not looking like the silver bullet it was thought to be.

UBS bank senior staff taking a grilling this week in US senate committee over Nazi war gold reparations.. Now what that all about?. UBS did make a settlement but looking like someone after a large second helping. Any coincidence with reports Germany muting it wants its gold repatriated from US vaults ? Who know?

Respect but Mr Trump has pushed the EU further towards China and is doing so with its neighbours in Canada... China has huge influence in Africa where it is growing its consumer base...The EU is reducing its reliance on all things American including tech.. Worse still countries are dumping US debt.

BRICS is becoming a dominant trading block.. Trump is running the USA like a protection racket and it won't work...

So why not go tell your Trump success story to the fentanyl addicts and ten of thousands of homeless in any city in the US. See what they say...

For sure but the point being that bank investor who have been supporting Farage , need to be careful what they wish for..

Now shore capital.. What they thinking?. Chilly winds from the East, the Trump effect, Global debt, Conflict escalation ?.. For sure plenty to go at...
