"(Alliance News) - UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt are due to hold talks with the Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey in response to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank UK.
In a statement issued on Sunday morning, the Treasury said it is treating the issue "as a high priority".
"The government is working at pace on a solution to avoid or minimise damage to some of our most promising companies in the UK and we will bring forward immediate plans to ensure the short-term operational and cashflow needs of Silicon Valley Bank UK customers are able to be met," the statement said.

No such a thing is there as a , company specific issue.
Bank crews I speak with on a almost daily basis all nervous..
Powell has the choice.. He's been jiggy with rate rises. He say he don't care if the market crash.. But we need to see if he bottles it and put the rates down early in the week...If he stays with the pedal on the floor maybe he drive the economy off a cliff edge.. If he do he can kiss the baby goodbye..!! You know what I'm saying?

The big question is as I sees it...will the buy back be suspended?
